No you don't have additional 6 months to leave the country... When you get the visa they will print the date to enter so it fits with 6 months from the medical.

That's not what they told me, when I got my visa approved the lady told I have until october to leave my homecountry. My visa even expired october 11 I got approved on april 3rd 2012. My medical exams were from early january so that means I would have to leave around july. and my visa clearly says (is still on my passport) expired on october 11 and issue date april 15, 2012

It's a couple of years ago you did it, so it might have changed since then. This is what I was told by Sweden embassy since I did the medical before they have the case and can see everyone else is having. But let's hope someone who just got the visa can come and say what is in their visa then.

According to your timeline your case was sent to CSC (California).

Anyway, you should look at your NOA1. The first three letters tell you which Center is processing your I-129F.

If the receipt number starts with WAC XXXXXXXXXX - it's California. And you will have your NOA2 from this Center.

Quick question, is this normal that the status is not changing? Like I said before I am waiting for my NAO2 and if I track my number online it still says the same.

we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by April 13, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Will it stay like this until it gets send out to NVC and from there on I get a new number once I call them and ask?

thanks

It will change if you get an RFE or the approval.

After the approval that app can't be used anymore for the K-1 visa

thanks for always answering!! I just saw I am just a couple months behind you with everything :)

Where did you get you new 'tracking' number after NAO2? Directly from the NVC?

You're welcome :)

I haven't gotten it. I'm lucky that in my country I don't need it for the medical and therefore I can just wait for it to come with the mail from the embassy so I can move forward from there. But I think I stille have whole next week of waiting too... They seems to take 3 weeks from NOA2 till you can get your case number right now.

We are not even that far away from each other haha. You are right, I read somewhere once it is about 3 weeks, you should wait before calling. Well I am not in a hurry anyway hehe, just wanted to make sure everything is on track :)

No, you do not get an additional 6 months at the time the visa is issued. And if there are any medical issues, the time can even be shorter than 6 months.

https://fam.state.gov/fam/09FAM/09FAM050207.html

9 FAM 502.7-5(C )(7) K Visa Issuance, Travel

(CT:VISA-1; 11-18-2015)

(Previous location: 9 FAM 41.81 PN3.6 b; CT:VISA-1097 10-31-2008)

a. K Visa Validity: K-1 and K-2 visas should be valid for six months for one entry. K- 3 and K-4 visas should be valid for multiple entries for 24 months, unless constrained by security clearance requirement or waivers, which are valid for a year or less. Unmarried aliens entering the United States as a K-4 should be admitted for a period of 24 months or until that alien’s 21st birthday, whichever is shorter (see 8 CFR 214.2(k)(8) and 8 CFR 214.2(k)(11)(v)).

(Previous location: 9 FAM 41.81 PN4.2; CT:VISA-1097 10-31-2008),

b. K Visa Annotations: The K visa should be annotated in the following cases:

(1) Medical Cases:

(a) When the medical examination has revealed a Class A tuberculosis or another Class A medical condition, and an INA 212(d)(3)(A) waiver has been granted, the visa should be annotated: “MED: 212(d)(3)(A).”

(b) When the medical examination has revealed a Class B tuberculosis condition or Class B leprosy, non-infectious, the visa should be annotated: “MED: Class B.”

Revisions to Visa Medical Examination Validities http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/policy_updates/CDC_Revisions_to_Visa_Medical_Examinations%20%2802-2015%29.pdf

Per 9 FAM 40.11, notwithstanding the provisions of INA 221(C ), visa validity must be limited to the validity of the medical examination.

2. Medical examinations will be valid for six months for individuals with the following conditions:

a. No Class (i.e. No Apparent Defect, Disease, or Disability);

b. Class A, Other than TB;

c. Class B2 LTBI;

d. Class B3 TB (Contact Evaluation);

e. Class B, all except TB, including specific Class B conditions; and

f. Class B Other conditions.

3. Medical examinations will be valid for three months for individuals with the following conditions:

a. Class A TB with Waiver;

b. Class B1 TB, Pulmonary;

c. Class B1 TB, Extrapulmonary; and

d. HIV infection (with or without a TB Class).

Just saw mine is WAC. So I'm guessing that's Texas. Weird lol

WAC = California Service Center(CSC). The California Service Center uses WAC because it was formally the Western Adjudication Center. Texas Service Center(TSC) = SRC. The Texas Service Center uses SRC because it was formally the Southern Regional Center.

All I-129F petitions are being routed to the CSC, and that is where yours is too. Your timeline is incorrect. You are not at the TSC.
