Just wondering if anyone could give me example of how long AP could last. Had interview at the Montreal consulate March 23/16 and was told everything was perfect and just needed to send in my medical results when I got them. He made it seem really easy ... but after mailing them in March 29/16 and it showing they got it April 1/16... I started looking online and am scared. Any one have this happen and have any idea how long it will take before I see something via email and or update on the CEAC website.

Thanks in advance :)

My interview was feb 24~ but I had some missing documents, so he kept my passport and told me after receiving the documents my stuff would be ready in less than 2 weeks.
My documents were received at the consulate on Friday, March 4th.. My status updated to administrative processing on March 7th & once again on March 10th but nothing has been updated since then and i'm still waiting for my visa (the upcoming week will be my 5th week of waiting)

did they tell you you are approved ?

Nopeee, all he said was that after they receive my documents it'll take less than 2 weeks for me to be able to pick up the visa so i'm uncertain :(

Please keep us posted with the progress and will do the same.

Yup, good luck to you guys!

well from what i have read, it can take up to 60 days after the day that they receive your last document to review your file. and no action or inquiry can be made prior to those 60 days. so i have no idea why they keep telling all of us is as fast as they say. fingers crossed its only a few weeks for everyone though :clock::cry::crying:

that is so long :( I had my hopes up since my "administrative processing" updated extremely soon after they received my documents so i was thinking that they at least started to review my file. I do have doubts now though since the 5th week mark for waiting is tomorrow ! I wish they were able to tell us that it'd take a long time so that the situation isn't so stressful
