No. I told Mo about it last night and he asked, what's a #######? I had to explain. He didn't realize there's was a term for the act. I explained that it as like Vday for men. He wanted to know if he got a gift. I told him the steak and bj was the gift. He feels jipped...he said, on Vday women get flowers, candy, jewelry and sex but all men get is food and sex. I told him I'd buy him flowers if that would make him happy.

Can someone still get the chicken pox if they have been vaccinated?

not knowing for sure but i do know you can get whats called shingles a form of the chicken pox, the virus is within our systems and stress can bring it out. I can swear to the fact that they look and feel just like chicken pox and hurt like the devil, i have a small case about a couple months ago (just out of the clear blue they just showed up)

I believe you can get chicken pox even if you're immunized. Don't immunizations contain small amounts of the virus you're being immunized against? Just like some ppl come down with the flu after getting a flu shot.

A person usually has only one episode of chickenpox, but VZV can lie dormant within the body and cause a different type of skin eruption later in life called shingles (or herpes zoster). Getting the chickenpox vaccine significantly lowers your child's chances of getting chickenpox, but he or she may still develop shingles later.

Well there you have it. The notice that my daughter came home with apparently says that one girl in the 3rd grade has the chicken pox and she had been vaccinated, since you can't go to school here unless you have had the vaccine.

My 9 yr old last night went to hug me and she has a huge rash all over her chest. Immediately I thought of the chicken pox but then blew it off thinking it's just an allergic reaction to something.

UGH. This would be an automatic 5 days off from school which means I'd be housebound. The hard part is she won't let me look at it 'cause it's on her chest and she got a sudden bout of modestly!

keeping in during the fever stage for sure, i believe i had the chicken pox around that age and then this last (shingles) just a few months ago. Shingles will only be on one or the other (half) of the body it wont cross the center line attaching to the nerve endings (pain). If chicken pox i believe i remember something you can put in the bath water to help with the itching. Getting heated up will break them on out (check her in her sleep)
