Sputum culture

Hi! Good day! I'm a newbie here,need some advice from you guys in a same situation. I took my medical examination on March 21,2016.Me and my daughter. I was advised to go back March 28,29,30 for a sputum collection. Co'z they saw something on my x-ray. I thought it was the lung scar 10 yrs.ago when I was young.

They told me to go back on April 01. For my pulmonary evaluation, Thanked GOD the 3sputum smear test turn out negative,now I'd been waiting until may 25 the end of the culture.And the nurse instructed me to start calling June 01. For the result.. hoping for the good result of my culture.and always praying..

I was in your situation few months ago. And i survived! I know to myself that I don't have any lung disease or infection. My culture turn negative last month and i got my vaccine last month too.

And now, I'm just waiting for my visa this week.

Keep praying everything will be fine.. Trust God and lift everything to Him ?

Don't worry. My wife just got back from her pulmonary interview and she was negative also. I found out that the preliminary result is 96% accurate so we should have no problem waiting for the culture result to become final on May 25.

Just curious if you had to schedule your interview with the embassy or did St. Lukes do it for you.

Before i go to SLEC for my immunization, i check the website first but I didn't book my interview. I saw that the earliest date for interview was on March 29. Upon releasing at St. lukes, the girl from the counter asked me if i had my interview date and i said yes. But honestly, I don't have. Cause i heard that if SLEC book your appointment they will give you late date for interview. Then after i got my cd xray she told me that they will forward my medical result to Embassy the following day. When i got home, i booked the March 29 interview date and i got approved!!

If you got your result and you are for immunization make sure to check the interview date but don't book it yet unless you have your cd xray and you are done on your immunization. Goodluck! Everything will be fine. Keep praying ?

Hi! I phoned SLEC earlier today about my sputum culture..the mtb culture due is on May 25, and was instructed to call by June 1.. But I tried calling them today for I was hoping they will have already the result, and they told me to go back on Friday, and bring my receipt and passport..but didn't tell me the result yet.. Did I passed the sputum culture ?
