Had my Bio appointment yesterday and it went smooth. Walked in the office was empty, and they had me fill out a form, and I was in and out in 10 minutes.

So whats next? Wait by the mail box for more info?

Just look online and it should tell you if u got an RFE, GREEN CARD, INTERVIEW DATE, or CASE IS READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN INTERVIEW,

No need to check the mail just yet

My fiancee had her bio appointment at the beginning of March, and absolutely nothing changed on any of the 3 case statuses until this week, when her EAD and AP were approved. They all just said "We received your case on February 9, 2016", etc. No acknowledgement was shown for the biometrics appointment or anything else until approval.

The next things you will possibly see online are: an RFE, "New card was ordered", approval, or notice of an interview. These will all happen in due time.

My advice is to just relax, sign up for MyUSCIS and enable mobile/email alerts for the cases, and wait it out!

Funny thing is just now my AOS just changed to "Caseis ready to be scheduled for an Interview"

So I am guessing that there will be a letter in the mail in the next week with this info?

My EAD and Travel case status hasn't changed.

How long did it take you to get the letter regarding the appointment date and time after the status changed online?

And how far out was your interview?

I had my Biometrics App on April 12, and yesterday online the status changed to ready to schedule an interview.

I thought you had gotten your interview date already, and was curious how long after the status changed till you got the interview date or letter in the mail.

It all depends on how busy your local office is, some ppl can wait close to up for a year or since u did not get an actual interview date they might just end up giving you the green card

Good thing is that you can still get ur EAD/AP which should not take no longer then 90 days and the 90 days starts from the NOA1 date
