My fiance is trying to register for the CFO PDOS. On the registration form it ask

How are you related to your petitioner/sponsor?

Since she has a K-1 visa I assume the answer from the drop down list would be.

FiIipino Fiance

Next question.

What is your Country of destination?

United States

Okay, how do I answer this one?

What is your visa type/category/classification? ( K-1 is not in the drop down list )

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks ,

I am a US citizen. I am assuming the questions are referring to me. I am the petitioner

I don't understand, This is from the registration site.

1. Is your fiancé(e) / spouse / partner a foreign national? Answer: NO

2. Is your fiancé(e) / spouse / partner a former Filipino citizen? Answer: NO

3. What is the citizenship of your fiancé(e) / spouse / partner? Answer: American ( United States of America)

STEPS
  1. To check whether or not you are required to take the Guidance and Counseling Program, please answer the questions by clicking "Yes" or "No" and choosing from the drop-down list.

  2. Type in your valid e-mail address.

    Note:
If you answered "No" to question 1 and 2, then you do not need to under go the GCP.

ALL exiting emigrates must attend CFO

Fiancees and spouses MUST attend the GCP seminar

Anyone who is a citizen of any country BESIDES the Philippines IS a foreign national.

OK, the GCP is scheduled for April 21st, I am hoping we don't need anything else. Her son is 8, so he is not required to attend, i think she can take his passport and visa will be sufficient, if anyone knows anything different please post a reply.

Thanks for all the good advice.

Correct the child only need to be registered.

You will need MUCH more than her passport and visa. Here is a link with info: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/5-cfo-gcp-seminar
