What is the biographic data page of the beneficiary passport. Is that just a copy of the photo with the person's information on the passport? I know this sounds like a dumb question but I just want to be sure.

Yes, the biographic page is the page that has his picture and information on it.

Here's information about the PCC as per the Department of State website:

Important: Police certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:

• You are more than 16 years old;
• The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
• You still live in the country that issued the certificate.

For country-specific guidelines on how to obtain a police certificate, review the Country Documents section at Reciprocity by Country.

So if my husband obtained his police clearance September 14 2015...we are still ok to use this?

Am a green card holder but my wife (UC) petitioned for my daughter and the

i-130 approved. Her number has been forwarded to NVC for visa processing.

what are the steps and the necessary documents needed to complete the

process without any issue? . i never married to the biological mother but she

has given me permission to take my daughter with me. do i need any letter

from her? Please, i need a detailed response. Thanks

If you think your interview will happen before September then you're good. My husband's PCC is also from September 2015. Hoping we get CC this month and interview scheduled for June.

I don't want to misguide you so I will leave dwheels76 or Frank to answer your question.

I know each country PCC has its own validation length. If the PCC you sent in to NVC will expire before the interview, you will need to get an updated one to take with you to the interview. that I know for sure.

The first page has the NVC Process which you should read through. It will help you through the NVC process.

Call NVC some time this week to see if they received your approved petition from USCIS. once they confirm they have received it, then wait another week or so and start calling to get your case number and Invoice number and go from there.

During the NVC stage, you will need to be proactive. You will be calling NVC a lot to stay on top of things. They will not reach out to you to say they have received your petition or that your case number and Invoice number has been assigned.

Takes almost a month for us to get Manila case number after Noa2.. Got manlla case number on March 28.. Still at NVC for two weeks now. I wonder how long to wait before NVC will transit our papers or packet to Manila consulate.?
