Hi,,

My husband seems to have lost his passport. We have turned our 600 sq ft home upside down with no luck. We backtracked all the places where we had the passport last. We haven't found it. He does have his green card but is concerned about the visa and point of entry stamps he obviously doesn't have. He has to go for his aos next year.. We don't know what to do.. Please advise.. Thank you .

Go to the police station and file a police report.

You will have to re apply to get a new passport..

you will need to file a I-102 to retrieve your i-94 card .

If the passport is not found soon, consider it lost\stolen. Must file a police report soon after. Then apply for a new passport.

Most embassies, including I reckon the Tunisian embassy, will ask for a police report to replace a passport.

He has the green card which is the conditional resident for two years.

he has to go to a police station and declare it lost. If he has a copy of the first page have him send it with the new replacement application. this application is going to be more expensive and lengthy and the reason is the embassy has to contact the department of interior in Tunisia.

Good luck.

he does not have to have the passport to remove conditions but just in case he needs to travel it will be required.
