Doing DCF CR 1. Wife was relieved to find out sputum test was negative. Still have to wait 2 months for culture result and was told to reschedule medical on May 25 to pick up medical result and get shots. They also told her that the medical report will expire on August 18, 2016 which is only 5 months from the time she took her medical in March.

My question: Is this the time she has to exit the Philippines or the time she has to schedule her embassy interview? Since the embassy gives you 6 months after the interview to exit the country I'm just confused on the medical expiration date.

You're misguided. The visa expiration = the expiration of your medical. So, she needs to book/complete her interview and enter the US before the medical expires

10/3/16: Biometrics appointment (day 19)

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

2/8/17: GC received (day 150)

 

ROC process:

11/3/2018: ROC window opens
