Put them in tents like they do in Arizona. I'm not being cruel. Give them water, food and shelter.

That's the work of the incredibly rad Sherif Arpaio. I love that man!

 It's to bad we can't do that to all the illegals that we catch. And the suggestion that the illegals build the facilities? I don't think he meant hiring them, I am thinking prison labor. Make them do it as part of their punishment! If we stop treating these gate crashers as welcome guests and start treating them as the criminals they are then they will stop coming in!

This is a federal government issue. They are the ones who should be enforcing the law.. Seriously what do those clowns do. They cannot even protect this country's borders.. Then again what is one to expect from the US congress which is plagued with lawyers..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

yeap, that's my new hometown for ye! Let's build a multi-million dollar baseball field that none of the locals will *ever* use, while there are still dirt roads within city limits and no sidewalks anywhere, and oh yeah, give free ###### to the illegals we can't hold because there's nowhere to put 'em. :P

gotta love this place

Well, sure, if we prosecuted all 110,000 immigrants who crossed the NM border (the smallest border of the four states) every year, we'd be good.

However, we currently prosecute about 2000 of them a year (and our caseload per judge is about ten times the national average). If y'all (meaning the American taxpayers) want to pay for a fifty-fold increase in prisons, marshals, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and other court staff, we're willing to do it. That's only, oh, another 750 judges at $150,000/year ... 500 court reporters at $100,000/year ... 750 courtroom deputies at $50,000/year ... 1500 marshals at $75,000/year ... 200 interpreters at $80,000 a year ... and of course, since there aren't nearly enough people qualified to fill the positions, you'd have to pay for training for them ... let's see, my MA degree cost me about $25,000, so add that to each of the interpreters ... law school for several hundred AUSAs and AFPDs (Assistant United States Attorneys and Assistant Federal Public Defenders) ... another 150 courthouses at $3 million each ...

But you're probably not actually willing to pay that, are you? You're not willing to actually put up the bucks to make your ideas possible.

Build a wall instead. An electric fence with bilingual warnings too.

Here's one for ya!

My legal immigrant husband says do it the French way: book a commercial plane, double stuff it to get maximum flyable capacity (no carry-ons or checked baggage allowed!) and fly that sucker back. It goes in as a commercial flight and leaves as a commercial flight.

Now I say that is something I would want my tax dollars to go to.

Since when do court reporters make 100K a year??????? And an interpreter makes 80K?????????

Oh, I get it, the illegals haven't taken over those professions yet.
