Hubby's interview in Cairo Egypt... November 17. Interview went great no documents requested and no 221g form given. CO said case looked great and if we didn't hear from them they would process our case. Been almost 3 weeks and no update.

My husband's interview was March 27, and he wasn't given any AP paper. He was only missing his military document which he sent the same day via Aramex. It's a tough process, especially the AP because we simply don't know when it'll be over. Just have patience and you'll get through it.

From what I have been reading, less than a month in AP is lucky... I cannot imagine the man waiting over a year for his wife's AP check to clear. Have some patience... hoping the update will result in the visa being issued for you, suziesadek.

Hoping everyone gets through as smoothly and quickly as possible. ☺

so just to let you guys have insight what the process is, for me anyways. my wife's interview was Feb 28th, went into AP until April 4th, visa issued, april 7th passport in hand. but the aramex had the passport since yesterday, but i dont know why they didnt call, my wife had to call today to check on the passport, they told her it was available since yesterday. so my recommendation is, call aramex everyday after the visa is being issued. so the whole process from interview day to passport in hand took 6 weeks.

We had an update today!! ???? Praying it means good news!!

We had an update too today 4/7/16 yayyyyy and our interview was on 3/17/16.

I hope we all hear good news soon.

It seems that many people are put on AP in Cairo embassy these days, but it hasn't always been that way. I heard from at least 3 people and they all say the same (they are on AP).
