For lifting the conditional permenent residency restrrictions, is a signed affadavit required, or suggested? In the USCIS's instructions, it seems to be requiring at least 2 signed affadavits. Is this required?

When you have wills and every power of attorney under the sun. (basically each spouse can make entire life decisions for the other spouse.)

When you're each the beneficiary of a decent life insurance and 401k

Pictures together with each other's family

etc..

affidavits is someone saying you have a genuine marriage. The other things hold more weight. But they're fine if you are lacking somewhere.
