Hi,

02/10/2010 First Green Card received

12/17/2010 Divorced finalized.

03/20/2013 RCG has been approved with waiver and WITH the interview. ( I was called for the interview FOR 10 YEAR GC and I went with my lawyer. The case was not approved right away. One month later It was approved. The interview was horrible. Thanks Allah that I went to the interview with my lawyer.)

01/27/2016 USCIS Received my application for N-400.

02/17/2016 Finger print was done

04/02/2016 N-400 interview is scheduled.

It is pretty fast in memphis. Only in two months I am called for the interview. I had my two GC in New York.

Now, I have been reading the forums recently, and I see 5 year rule is the easiest one. But still, I am wondering if I am going to be asked any questions about my previous marriage. Plus, I have got my 10 year GC WITH interview. If they ask me if I have any proof of my marriage, I do not have much things. I only have the bank account statement. Thats all I have and probably a tax return which I need to order them.

Anyways, If you share your experiences and any thoughts that would be great.

Once I am out from the USCIS office I am going to update this topic with results. Just two days...

Applying under the 5 year rule means that you don't have to be currently married and therefore you won't have to provide any evidence of a current relationship.

However, you can be asked to prove that you were in a legitimate marriage when you got your green card. My guess is that it is quite likely, although not necessary, that you'll be asked about your previous marriage. If you get luckily and get an interviewer who has reviewed your file in detail then they may not ask anything because they will have reviewed the evidence you submitted before. Good luck.

Hi,

So They still have my evidence right. Tomorrow is the interview. Lets see what is going to happen.

I think you're overestimating how organized they are.

Let's keep this simple: the interview is tomorrow... if you have any evidence, take it with you. If you don't have any evidence, it's too late to do anything about it, so go to the interview and see what they ask for. Chances are they won't ask for anything... but if they do want evidence and you don't have it, they'll send you a formal request for evidence or RFE before they make a decision.

Good luck.
