Our case numbers finally check out on the uscis website and I was pleased to see that the receipt date for I-130 and I-765 is April 29 - same day our package was delivered to Chicago. For I-485 it says biometrics fee received on May 5, so hope to get my biometrics appointment soon!

05/12/2016 - Online status changed: I-485 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

What a timeline! Going smoothly for you which is great. They obviously can speed through some cases when they want to!

Yeah they sure can!!! People are receiving RFE letters because they did not put 2015 tax proof in the package. I did not either because we filed before April 15th and they did not care.

I guess I was just lucky...Hope your case will be smooth too since you sent the RFE already!! :)

I received my Biometrics letter today. Scheduled for 5/27 in Seattle.

August 2009 - Applied for an internship in the US

February 2010 - Internship application successful

November 2010 - Entered US on J-1 visa

February 2011 - Back to Australia to finish studies

April 2012 - Graduation! I moved back to the US for full time work on E-3 visa

February 2014 - E-3 status renewed

July 28, 2015 - Priority Date (PERM filing)

December 8, 2015 - PERM approved

February 2016 - E-3 status renewed

April 11, 2016 - AOS & friends filed

April 26, 2016 - NOA received

May 12, 2016 - Biometrics notice received

Oh that's good news. Might I ask when did you send in your paper work? I sent mine in on the 12th and I'm now awaiting biometrics.

I sent mine on the 11th, it was received on the 12th.

August 2009 - Applied for an internship in the US

Got our Biometrics letter scheduled for 2016-05-23.. We are planning to do a walk-in before the scheduled date that was given.



Is that feasible?



Do anyone have an experience who the Kansas city office operates.



Will they allow this?



And what time of the day its better to do a walk -in



Any input will be appreciated
