We are filing AOS from a K-1 visa. We mailed our I-485, I-131 & I-765 on April 18th. We received our NOA 1 on April 23rd. We keep checking the USCIS website for an update & we get an error that our receipt number isn't recognized. We are just waiting to hear what is next.

LOL! DH and I have been stalking the mailman this week! It seems like we should be getting our biometrics appointment soon. We have to drive 3 hours away for it.

I am glad we aren't along in this. I don't understand why the case numbers haven't been logged.

My husband and I would like to know if there is anyone who filed in the months prior to April 2016 and have gotten their interview notice?

*Engaged March 16, 2013

*K-Visa petition sent September 26, 2013

*Petition Rec'd September 30, 2013

*Petition approved October 16, 2014

*I-601 Rec'd July 20, 2015

*I-601 approved October 9, 2015

*K1 visa approved January 19, 2016

*Traveled January 30, 2016

*Married February 26, 2016

*AOS mailed April 12, 2016

*USCIS Chicago lockbox Rec'd April 15,2016

When to expect the biometric notice?

When should we expect the EAD?

I sent my husbands on April 8, yesterday the check was cashed but I didn't receive any NOA.??? Does anyone know what the NOAs are for this process? Like they've received it, approved it, etc.

The NOA consist of case numbers for tracking purposes and will also state "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing."

The NOA for form I-485 will have a bit more details about your biometrics.
