I walked into USCIS application service centre today ahead of the appointment date and I was able to do my finger print successfully ...so I advise my fellow April filler to do the same thing too

I spent approximately 2hrs max including everything

At which point do we receive NOA 2? And is Biometrics appointment connected to I-765 and I-131 processing?

I didn't file I-131. I only filed for 1485,I 130 and i765

My biometric is applicable to i765 and i485 according to the biometric letter which I recieved in the email ..

So but you can ask other people about it too ...

Received the biometrics! The written date is May 12th

I also successfully completed the biometrics today, in Chicago: it was quite easy as there were very few people there. The person who took my biometrics was very nice.

I recommend the walk- in biometrics to others as well.

7 Days after my package was received and signed for my the chicago office. But no NOA, no TEXT .Cheques yet to be cashed.

Can someone tell me whats going on. I dont know if its too early .

Biometrics letter received today. Notice date Apr 23rd. Appt scheduled for 5/13. Going to try and walk in early the day before. For walk-ins do you recommend 1st thing in the morning?

It might depend on the day... I was there at around 10.30 today (tuesday) and I didn't have to wait in line. When I was done, it was around 11.00 am, and there was a line starting to form.

The usual timeline for NOA's is more like 8-10 days, sometimes more. There is no need to panic yet.

It might depend on the day... I was there at around 10.30 today (tuesday) and I didn't have to wait in line. When I was done, it was around 11.00 am, and there was a line starting to form.

Hello all, this website has been an incredibly useful source for almost 2 years now, although up until today, i have simply been a simply a reader of the forums rather than a contributor. So i finally decided to contribute my experience thus far (which is really not much) and add my piece to the adjustment process experiences already out there.

My husband (USC) and I filed our AOS on an approved I130 (Priority Date; September 10th 2014), on the 18th of April 2016, the packet was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on the 20th of April. Our check has not yet been cashed and i have not received any notifications of its receipt. Any words of support advice and updates on your own initial notice update time frames, would be much appreciated, as the wait is simply torture. Thank you!

(P.S. I am adjusting from an F-1 Visa)

My AOS package was delivered on 4/15. Cash was cashed on 4/22. I received NOA by email and text on 4/22, but I still haven't received the hard copy of NOA yet. I feel you, the waiting game is really frustrating. I suggest you to call USCIS customer service and ask them about the status of you case.

Oh you are so lucky! I entertained the thought of contacting them, but i have no idea what i may refer to, or use as a reference as i have no assigned case number or anything that they may use to track it. Any thoughts? Good luck on your application process btw

I believe you would just call and tell them your situation, and give them your name and the petitioners name. You can also give them the tracking number for the package when you sent it to the USCIS Lockbox service.

Also, I have seen other applicants received their NOA after 2 weeks. You shouldn't worry too much. Good luck!
