I still have no updates

And at this point I really don't care anymore

It's been too much time and too much nerves

So I stopped worrying and just forgot about everything, Trying to live my life and don't bother

Don't give up, just be patient. Everything will be fine. Some just take a little more time than others. Keep the faith!!

6/2005 we met in Brazil, I returned to US we stayed in contact.

9/2005 returned to Brazil asked her to marry me. :dancing:

11/2005 moved to Brazil and got married.

6/2006 daughter born in Brazil.

11/2006 took wife and daughter to meet my family in US.

10/2012 vacationed in the US 3 months

3/2014 2nd daughter born in Brazil.

11/2015 visited US again

12/2015 decided to start AOS.

4/4/2016 mailed AOS package

4/6/2016 AOS package received.

4/19/2016 received text AOs received and checks cashed

4/23/2016 received hard copy I-797c for I-485 and I-130

4/29/2016 received biometrics notice, scheduled for 5/10/2016

5/10/2016 Biometrics done, Nashville Tn.

5/20/2016 Received RFIE on I-485

5/31/2016 mailed response for RFIE

6/6/2016 NBC office received response to RFIE

6/13/2016 received notice that case is ready to schedule for interview.

6/22/2016 received notice for interview set for 7/25/2016

6/25/2016 received hard copy in mail for interview

7/25/2016 interview AOS approved.

7/28/2016 received I-797 for AOS approval

Now I see you are filing K-1 we are all filing AOS. (adjustment of status) that is probably why your process is moving different than ours.

Hi,

I am by no means an expert, but from what I understand you will only get an RFE if you made a mistake on a document and they want it corrected or if they want more information from you, both of which will come later in the process if needed. Don't worry about an RFE until they ask and even then just send whatever info or correction. RFE is not always a bad thing.

My e-mail with case numbers are only 2 probably because I did not request I-765 or I-131. They e-mail says to wait until you receive the hard copy of I-797 before checking on your case to allow time for everything to get in the system.

We all just need to be patient (easier said than done )

Thanks for the reply. I guess answers to half my questions is to wait :-). We get another NOA which is approval. So next wait is for that and biometric.

Thats how I was. i guess that the best way to go about it. At 30 day mark you can contact USCIS. But lets hope you get email and text before that.

Two questions: anyone able to track their cases online using the myUSCIS? I keep getting information that my case numbers could not be found ( I know this is a common issues just checking if anyone else is having the same issue). Also, has anyone received biometrics appointment information yet?

i have been following the thread and certainly plan to keep updating so I can share information with you all and hope that you will do the same. We're in this together!

4/8/2016 mailed AOS package (lawyer)

4/19/2016 bank confimed that cashier's checks were cashed

4/22/2016 received hard copy NOAs for I-765, I-130, I-485 ***Priority date 4/13/16***

4/30/2016 received biometrics notice, scheduled for 5/13/2016

5/05/2016 Walk in Biometrics done, Columbus, OH

6/22/2016 Online service request submitted for EAD

6/30/2016 Interview scheduled for 08/04/2016

07/20/2016 EAD card being produced

07/27/2016 EAD received

08/04/2016 Interview completed, APPROVED

08/13/2016 GC delivered

2016-6-28: I-765 status changed to "card was mailed"


2016-7-01: I-765 status changed to "card was delivered to me by the post office"

we sent package on April 7th (via lawyer, don't think that he filled out the G1145)

priority date of April 13th

received physical copies of NOAs on 04/22/16

case numbers not in the online system yet and app tracker does not find them as well

That's exactly where I am: I sent April 1st and received the NOAs, but no biometrics yet..

Does it show on myUSCIS when your biometrics is scheduled? or do you receive a text or something?

July 2009: Met in Italy, during a conference.

January 2010: I came to Chicago to study abroad for a quarter.

June 2010: I went back to Turkey: time for some long distance relationship!

September 2011: Came back to Chicago to start my graduate degree!

March 2012: We moved in together.

fast forward, October 17th, 2015: We got married at our backyard, with a beautiful ceremony.

January-February 2016: We were both in Turkey together!

April 1st, 2016: Sent in the package: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

April 4th, 2016: Package received, signed by CHYBA.

April 10th, 2016 (Day 6): NOA1 received

April 11th, 2016 (Day 7): Checks cashed

April 12th, 2016 (Day 8): NOA1 Hard copies received

May 2nd, 2016 (Day 29) Biometrics Appointment received, biometrics scheduled for may 12th.

May 3rd, 2016 (Day 30): Walk-in biometrics successfully completed

June 7th, 2016 (Day 64): Expedite Requested on EAD

June 9th, 2016 (Day 66): Proof of job offer sent to uscis via fax

June 14th, 2016 (Day 71): Expedite Request was assigned to an officer for response

June 16th, 2016 (Day 73): EAD status changed to "New Card in Production" and AP changed to "Approved"!

June 20th, 2016 (Day 77): EAD status changed to "Your card was mailed to you"

June 23rd, 2016 (Day 80): EAD/AP Combo Card Arrived!

No I haven't recieved anything from USCIS as of today and status hasn't change since 19th...I'm counting down and checking my mail every mins..I can't wait

nothing yet here. All I get is the case # error. So we wait. As for the Biometric notice I think they send a text then a hard copy with info in the mail.

I filed AOS on April 12, NOA is dated April 20. And now the wait begins for me too.

August 2009 - Applied for an internship in the US

February 2010 - Internship application successful

November 2010 - Entered US on J-1 visa

February 2011 - Back to Australia to finish studies

April 2012 - Graduation! I moved back to the US for full time work on E-3 visa

February 2014 - E-3 status renewed

July 28, 2015 - Priority Date (PERM filing)

December 8, 2015 - PERM approved

February 2016 - E-3 status renewed

April 11, 2016 - AOS & friends filed

April 26, 2016 - NOA received

May 12, 2016 - Biometrics notice received

I received physical NOAs and online system still doesn't recognize them. But as earlier I was wondering my fourth I-131 NOA status is rejected :ranting: because no payment provided. I checked again and again that payment is not required if submitting along with I-485. And that is the only reason they have mentioned, no other.

Going to call them tomorrow. If anyone knows how to tackle this, please shed some light.

Update: April 27th

I read smth similar here

There was somebody whose whole package was rejected and returned and that person looked it all through and found no mistakes and just resubmitted it the day after with a cover letter

So I personally think there are two possible explanations:

1. It is a mistake made by uscis officer who checked your case

2. They do this intentionally with some forms so that they at least can postpone your issuance date, cause they're backed up

Either way the only thing you have to go is to resibmit this form with a cover letter explaining to them that you it's your right to submit it without a fee as you have already paid for AOS form

5/6/2016 - delivered and signed up for by R Mercado [Day 1] 7/20/2016 - called to submit a service request for my EAD. [Day 76]
5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

5/16/2016 - got 3 NOAs in the mail, dated May 12, priority date is 7/29/2016 - case status of I-765 is "New Card Is Being Produced", later in the evening - "Case Was Approved" [Day 85]

May 6 (haven't received any emails or texts) [Day 11] 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

6/10/2016 - got biometrics letter in the mail, notice date is June 4, 2016, which 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

is day 30 from when they picked up the package [Day 36] 8/2/2016 - case status of I-765 is "The Card was Mailed to you" [Day 90]

6/21/2016 - Biometrics walk-in in Philadelphia [Day 47] 8/4/2016 - received I-797 Notice of Action for approved I-765 [Day 92]

Met husband in class: August 2013

Started dating: February 2014

Engaged: 21 May 2015

Married (courthouse): 25 March 2016

Sent AOS packet to Chicago lockbox: 19 April 2016

NOA1 received: 24 April 2016

Biometrics appointment: 24 May 2016

Case ready to be scheduled for an interview: 2 June 2016

Infopass to request AP expedite: 30 June 2016 expedite approved

EAD/AP card in production: 1 July 2016

EAD/AP card received: 11 July 2016

Interview notice received: 17 September 2016

Interview date: 21 October 2016

APPROVED!

Green card received: 28 October 2016

Process took 192 days, no RFEs, from sending the packet to having green card in hand.
