Our interview for Sept 14 was cancelled :(

Our status online says:

We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you.

We got a letter but it was just a cancellation notice and also says we'll get another letter.

Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to me. And I received a new interview letter a few weeks after

Hello everyone,

has any April filer progressed on their case ? It's been 6 months to the day and I'm still stuck at the "ready to schedule an interview" stage... and based on the DC processing times, I won't have anything until early next year AT BEST, which would mean 10 months-ish for a legal spouse-sponsored AOS !!!!! What the heck is USCIS doing all this time ?

Update and potential tip

Two weeks ago, I called USCIS to make a service request on my case because I have received a job offer contingent on a GC (not EAD, it's not exactly legal but we aren't in a perfect world). Of course, the SR was rejected BUT and that's a big but i have received my interview notice this week. When i check the processing time for my center, they are still handling cases 3 months before my priority date so either I got a bump due to something unforeseen or the SR actually forced them to look at my case

Anyway, just wanted to share the experience. Maybe this is something that others have seen or can corroborate

I received my greencard in the mail today, a week after my interview. I'm glad to be done with this process for now, until ROC!

I just checked my case status and they mailed off our 2ND RFE. We still haven't received our EAD or AP since filing in April. Really disheartened by this whole process and the fact that my wife hasn't been able to work or leave the country since December. This sucks.
