Do you have a program that checks the 250 before & after numbers? Or do you enter them manually?

It was probably just time for yours to be processed, your service request probably haven't even been assigned to an officer so quickly (it takes a day or two at least). Congrats once again.

Still no news for me, but I'm checking 500 receipt numbers, 250 before mine and 250 after and there were a lot of approvals yesterday, some before my number, some after, so I'm hoping to get an update within the next few days.

I finally got an update on my husbands EAD on the USCIS website. It was approved on July 22, 2016! Hopefully, it will arrive in the mail this week. No update on our AOS or AP yet.

so my husband called last week because we still haven't received a job permit for him yet and it's been since April 18th, they told him that they were back up that's why the delay but everything was fine, I went check just a few minutes ago and I got this " On July 23, 2016, we ordered your new card".... Does anyone know how long it takes after they post this online? I am soooo happy as my husband is waiting for this to sign a job contract so THANK GOD for the perfect time...a whole lot of PATIENCE REQUIRED

Guys,

still have not heard anything at all from USCIS. i'm over 100 days now, 2.5 weeks into a service request and my case numbers are still not working !! This is getting embarrassing for USCIS and me. i got some good jobs lined up but cannot do anything without an EAD

Next steps are going to be the ombudsman and the congress representative but I have several reservations on that, given the history of getting things done by both USCIS and the us congress. On top of that, my wife and I being DC residents, our representative is slightly better than a potted flower in terms of clout.

I hope things get moving at some point because this is super frustrating especially since it seems my money has been taken without anything given back.

Update for ... lack of update

Seriously, I don't know what I've been doing wrong. I still have not received any update from USCIS although I'm way beyond the 90 day period and the service request is MIA. Could it be the background check ? I have a really uncommon name so the odds that a felon in France or here has the same name are super slim !

Anyway, my wife wrote to her congressperson to get some traction on my case but damage is already done. The couple jobs I had nailed contacted me back and told me they were going with other candidates due to the uncertainty of my case. I tried to argue for an official offer so i could try to expedite (hahahaha) the EAD but they simply refused and said that the need was now, not sometimes in the future.

Obviously, case numbers don't work either, no idea if my GC is processed. USCIS tier 1 and 2 are the same over and over again "it is still under review, please be patient, it is progressing... no the SR has not been assigned yet... we have a lot of applicants"

So here i am... I'm so happy i decided to stay in the US to get a nice future....

Congrats! We started being able to check online and Our status changed on July 20th. Today I received a text from USPS that a package was on the way and will be delivered on Thursday. I checked the USPS website and it's our EAD, so for us it's looking like a week between approval and receipt. They send it via 2 day mail. I've had the USPS dashboard feature for a while now (over a year) so that is how I got a text with the tracking number. The USCIS site has not updated to show that the card was mailed out and we've not gotten a tracking number from USCIS. People have had varying success with registering for the USPS dashboard and getting the tracking number sent to them. I suspect that it is because they are signing up for new accounts or have not been at their address for long. Won't hurt to sign up though! Hope that info helped.

Sorry to hear about your delay. Our processing time for EAD was over 90 days so I feel your pain and frustration.

We called USCIS everyday even though we kept getting the same lame information about being patient and that it was processing normally. We also submitted multiple SR (online and over the phone). We also contacted our ombudsman but they just replied today and our EAD was approved last week. It's tedious and I'm not sure if it helped and most days we ended up more frustrated but it helped us to feel like we were doing something.
