How are people not going to the biometrics on the day scheduled and just walking in? I finally was able to find a couple of nurses to trade with me so we can make it on the scheduled date.

Well after reading about many others doing walk-ins. I figured well, I have my appointment notice and the time so why not. The most they can do is turn me around because it wasn't my scheduled date.

So if you have the letter and the time, I'd say go on and give it a shot.

Good luck.

Hey Everyone, i have noticed that some do not have their time lined on all your posts. It's a good idea to have it so everyone can compare timelines.

In the top right corner where you name is at click on the dropdown menu. (the white arrow by your name) then click on (my settings) on the left of that page you will see a list that starts with (profile settings) select the one that says (SIGNATURE) Scroll down a little on that page and in the (Edit Signature) area you can write out your time line. look at the time line of others to get an idea.

Hope this helps, someone had to walk me through the process also.

So please EDIT YOUR SIGNATURE.

Good luck to all.

Unfortunately, I live a little over 3 hours away from the USCIS office. I would be afraid of attempting a walk-in and getting turned away. For people that live close by, I could understand doing this.

I totally understand. But doing it earlier or on your scheduled date you will fine. Please take all necessary documents with you as well. It was good that I did because I am doing a name change and they asked to see my marriage certificate.
