If someone is just staying with you for a few days then no. But if they are staying for a few months and contributing then yes.

Thank you for help

What is contributing? we just live with parents and look for job, does it count to same household? Cheers

Incorrect. People living in the house are part of the household.

States this very clearly on uscis.

do you know which form states it ? and does it matter if my husband and I move to another state? Thank you so much.

hi

wrong

there can be 10 people living in the same house, that does not constitute a household

unless they are dependents such as parents or children and you declare them as your dependents on taxes they aren't included as household members

Thank you for help

is the son or daughter a dependent of the parents? de they declare their child as dependent on their taxes?

now, why do you want to know about household? what type of petition is it, who petitioned? you need to explain the case

It is i864 for me to adjust status from K1. Because we live with his parents and we don't have income now. Thank you for your help. My husband quit his former job and went to travel last year. so he doesn't have tax return last year, but before 2015, he did not fill tax return with his parents either. We are planing to move out at end of this month and head to another state to find job. so I think we should do the co-sponsor rather than fill I864a.
