NOA1 of my I-485

Hi All,

I wonder if any of you experiencing the same thing with me, I am K1 Visa holder,I entered U.S. since 21 Feb. I have filled my I-485 since March 12, I checked on the courier tracking that USCIS received it on March 13. We haven't heard any news since then till now, I am waiting for the NOA1. I read in the other forum that mostly people get their NOA1 within 3 - 8 days from the date of received the documents.

I really hope to get NOA1 and we can track our status, I start getting bored here with no activity. I really dont care about Green Card, all I care is the work permit that let me be able to work and be function professionally.

Try to be a little patient, as the NOA1 hardcopies take time. If you see that your check was cashed, you may have more to go off of.

As for the status, it really depends on the adjudicator you have and how nice they are in updating your status. AOS is different from K1 in that they don't really update your case status that often unless you have an RFE. Since our original NOA1, we haven't had any case updates.
