Hi everyone,

I'm a new member. I'm so happy that I've found people in the same boat. I'm a CSC filler. My date of I-751 is April 18th, 2016. NOA Date 04/21/2016. Biometrics 06/03/16.

I wonder if in case RFE, will they update case status as "REF" online or just simply mail the letter to my address without changing anything online? Will they update online status as "RFE or only update after I submit more evidence? I haven't heard anything and my case status online just stop at "Case was received", I don't know if I need to summit anything more. I'm so worry!

Thank you very much and I appreciate your help!

You will get a letter if you get a RFE or interview notice (which I hope not). Online Status will not show any RFE/interview status but it might show Card production if you got approved Since I have heard some members getting approval letter without having online case status approved.

Good Luck to you.

Congratulations Aimi!

Thank you very much! Seeing your case I think I still can hope in 2-3 more weeks. Did you have to summit any more evidences or they just approve your case with no more requirement?

Wanted a share the excellent news with our family here. You have no idea how helpful and supportive the VisaJourney family has been to us. We can not thank you all enough. You all have been there to help us with our questions and concerns and encouragements. These meant a whole lot in our difficult and long journey.

On November 7, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to

www.uscis.gov/addresschange

to give us your new mailing address.

Did you guys had received physical GC already? I wonder how many days from approval till received GC in mail , just trying to make some plans and buy flight tickets before the prices get crazy. In my observation is like 10 days or I am wrong ?

We received A message yesterday that the GC has been picked up by USPS. Will be arriving on the 19th. We were approved on the 7th. So for us it will be 12 days. I think they are sending it with delivery confirmation. SO someone has to sign for it?

@bkghosh---I'm also curious if we need to sign to get the green card. I'm hoping we don't need to bc there is no one home at our house during the day to receive any deliveries :( So I'm a bit worried about that.

Anyone else who received their green cards have any input?

Anyway, we finally received an email confirmation saying that the new card is in production on 11/17! It also says it will take up to 30 days to receive it. I was an early April filer, so to all the ones who filed early on, hopefully yours come soon!

One thing I do with all deliveries that I won't be home to sign & accept is I call the courier (USPS, UPS, DHL etc.) and tell them to hold it at their local facility for me. I then go there after work to pick it up.

You will need the Tracking number etc. to do that. Fortunately for me, the local post office here is closer to an Airport so it also doubles as a sorting facility and as a result, they close late (10.00 pm).

I called USCIS today and spoke with 2nd level (Immigration Personnel); she told me that my case hasn't reached a decision yet even though it is over 6 months. And she also found out that the address on file is incorrect :( I am not sure why it was listed incorrect when I received my notices before for the 1 year extension and biometric but I am glad she fixed it.

Nothing has changed for my case; I am so sad.. :(

Hi guys, I was just able to send online request outside of normal processing time. The confirmation said that I should receive answer by Dec 10th, I am April 18th filler.

Hi Misuzu,

I tried to fill the online form. I chose Form number I751 and fill the receipt number WAC***, but it said "You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number." I'm also a April 18th filler. Did you have the same problem or there is another Receipt number I should use?

Thank you very much!
