I did my biometrics last Friday but my online status is still the same. Is this normal? Anybody whoes online status has changed since the biometrics?

Grr, still no letter. I called and they are now saying the wait is between 30-45 days. Well how convenient seeing as though I'm at 40 days waiting.

Waiting for a callback from Tier 2 officer. 56 minute wait. Oh this brings back the memories of the good ole USCIS days...

Guess we can no longer edit our posts? Or am I missing the button?...

Anyways. I'm assuming I will not get a call back today since it's now been over an hour and it's nearly 6pm EST. Grr...

As always I'm worried for a few reasons.

1. We move in two weeks. I'm holding off changing our address because I want the biometrics letter first!

2. About a month ago I had a postcard delivered about two weeks late (after it had been marked by the post office). I'm worried this might be happening again and we actually have a biometrics appointment but don't have the letter yet.

I'm a teacher and we're in our last week of school so I have kids all day which means I have no time to make a phone call. Especially not one that I need a one hour wait time. Guess I'll be able to call next week sometime. Sigh.

I think CA DMV goofed up here...!!! They gave her a 5-yr driving license expiring in 2018. But shhhhhh....don't tell any one....

How fortunate of her! My DL expires on June 11. I already sent my documents to CA DMV last May 1 and there was proof pf receipt. I called DMV a couple of weeks ago and they said DMV should be coordinating with USCIS and that I should just wait for them to send me something. Haven't received anything from DMV to this day. I'll just go to their office on Friday. Hopefully this thing thing will be resolved, or maybe I'll get something from them before Friday. B-)

Anyone here in the same situation?

Oh my goodness- so I got a phone call back at 9pm! The lady was able to confirm that we do have a biometrics appointment the letter just hasn't showed up yet. She says if it doesn't arrive by this week to call back and they will fax us the letter.

Woo!

Biometrics appointment June 20.

You should make an appointment for DMV and just show up with the about to be expiring DL and the NOA letter and the GC. I doubt they will even look at the NOA and GC and will extend the DL anyway.

Got a reply from my service request

'Thank you for your inquiry regarding an appointment to have your biometric images processed at an Application Support Center (ASC). We are unfortunately experiencing a longer processing period than what is reflected on your Form I-751 Receipt Notice for this process. Please know that your name has been electronically added to the appointment scheduler. You will receive an ASC appointment notice by mail once an appointment date has been established for you.'

Well at least I know I am in line for an appointment for the biometrics and I havent missed it.

I had my biometrics recorded today at Portland. My biometrics appointment letter was issued for the Atlanta ASC but I moved to Oregon recently for a job. I didn't have any problems. In fact, the lady at the counter said "Atlanta! That's far away!". She was however adamant in seeing everybody's green card so don't leave it at home. My appointment was for 9 am but I got there around 8.40 am and was out right around 9.

Hi everyone,

We sent our package April 4th and got my biometrics done May 2nd. I have read here that it takes about six months to received a new green card, however, I am wanting to apply for global entry, but I am unsure I can do it if my status is still pending as I am almost sure I'll need to enter my GC information. Anyone have tried to apply for global entry while their ROC is pending?

Thanks!

We did biometrics in Albany, New York today. Our appointment was for 1 p.m. We came in at 12:35. The two guys at security were really nice and funny. One of them said..."Oh, the biometrics clerk is just about to go to lunch - you have time to get in there - go fast!".

Get this. Our appointment was for 1 p.m. The clerk's lunch hour starts at 1 p.m. Because we were early, we were able to get right in, and walk out the door at 12:50. There were 12 (!!!!) people coming in for 1 p.m. appointments. I know not all of them were for biometrics, but I cannot BELIEVE that they'd schedule appointments for the exact hour that the clerk goes to lunch!!! GUMMINT!
