Hi Everyone, my check was cashed this morning. I sent my package on 4/12 and it arrived on 4/14. Expecting to get the NOA in the next few days. My CGC expires 5/8.

Removal of Conditions

April 12, 2016 - ROC application mailed to VSC

April 14, 2016 - ROC application delivered to VSC

May 5, 2016 - Check cashed

May 8, 2016 - NOA received, dated 4/15/2016

May 21, 2016 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 6/2/16

May 8, 2017 - ROC approval letter received, dated 5/3/2017

May 17, 2017 - New card received

 

N-400

June 14, 2017 - N-400 application mailed to Lewisville, TX

June 16, 2017 - N-400 application delivered.

June 19, 2017 - Card charged

June 26, 2017 - NOA received, dated 6/20/2017

June 30, 2017 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 7/13/17

Aug 29, 2017 - In line for interview

Feb 12, 2018 - Status changed to interview scheduled

Feb 16, 2018 - Received interview letter, dated 2/13/18; interview date: 3/22/18

March 22, 2018 - Naturalization interview. Approved!

April 6, 2018 - Initial oath ceremony scheduled. Had to write to reschedule because of pre-planned trip

May 25, 2018 - Oath ceremony. Now a US citizen!

July 16, 2019 - Mailed i-130 application to Chicago Lockbox

July 18, 2019 - Application delivered

July 23, 2019 - Card charged and received receipt number by text message

July 27, 2019 - NOAs received, dated 7/22 and 7/23. Priority date 7/18/19. Assigned Potomac Service Center.

March 23 2020: Received NVC email. Turns out i-130 petition was approved March 18. Found out by logging into USCIS account.

Hello everyone, quick question: we mailed our I751 and USPS shows that it was received on 04/15. As of today (05/04), USCIS has no record of our application. My wife's CGC expires on 05/07. Will USCIS reject our application if they process it next week (after the 7th) even if tracking shows it was delivered on the 15th of last month? Is USPS tracking enough evidence that it was "FILED" within the 90 day period? I appreciate any clarification or positive thoughts...

HI, you should be OK, since you file within the window. Your usps tracking receipt is your proof of that. We have a similar situation, I called USCIS last week they told me even if I made a mistake I will be able to resend application or documentation.

Our package arrived on the 13th, but we're being told our money orders haven't been cashed yet. It seems they've JUST gotten around to packages that arrived on the 13th or 14th, so hopefully today? I have a feeling, though, that ours will be delayed because we didn't write ATTN: I-751 on the front of our envelop. Did anyone else have their check cashed and not write that on the front of their envelope?

I appreciate the feedback. It seems like things are moving. I hope things are being processed and ours will be touched before the end of the week. We shipped on the 12th and it arrived on the 15th. I pray they take care of it by the end of today (being optimistic)!

Please keep the news of checks being cashed and data being entered! Might try to call USCIS again tomorrow to see if they will have our information in the system!

my cheque was cashed today at VSC, it arrived there on 11th april

I'm confused, you mean you got the NOA notice today but it was dated 4/11? Or something else?

Our check was cashed today too, sent 4/11 received 4/13. One thing to look out for, they don't actually cash your check, they use the routing details on it to make a direct debit. It'll show up as Preauthorized Debit - VSC FIELD OFFIC in your online banking.

Our check was cashed today too, sent 4/11 received 4/13. One thing to look out for, they don't actually cash your check, they use the routing details on it to make a direct debit. It'll show up as Preauthorized Debit - VSC FIELD OFFIC in your online banking.

NOA1 received today and dated 4/11/2016.

It's a little confusing but to keep it consistent I used the date per the legend at the bottom of the tracker.

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter.

It appears that your NOA1 date is the date that the Post Office delivers your packet. At least we get a little credit for that, since it's taking them 3 weeks to cash the check! This dating convention sure helps those who are dangerously close to the expiration of their Green Cards!
