I have been a silent observer since me and my fiancé started this. Visa Journey peeps have been truly helpful. Congrats to all the approvals and for the ones waiting have patience its coming. (Hard to hear I know :/)

I do have a question about this post decision thing. I see some are saying its for all the approvals after 7/25/16. Is it just batch specific or is there another method to their madness on who is selected to get this? We were just approved last week but I see people are getting this text/email update on the app very quickly. Can someone enlighten me on this? Because I only have half a head of hair left since I pulled out the other while waiting for our NOA2

Also side question...lets say it does take 6 weeks for our NVC number and according to the Algeria consulate its interview dates are always 2 months or more out...what happens if we don't get an appointment before 11/5/16 the date it expires?

USCIS will automatically extend the expiration each time it expires, so dont worry about the 4 month expiration date your case will move forward still. And yes there is no method to their madness, your case is picked from a batch pile of other packages it is not first come first serve, its as random as when they pull a lottery ball from the spinning box! lol

lol sounds about right. But good thing on the extend...thanks !!

Hello, we have the same noa1 and noa2. I hope we get our nvc number less than 6 weeks...

I hope so too...just trying to figure out why some people are getting the post decision close to our date and was trying to figure out how that's played out. ireally don't want to have to wait 6 weeks for a number so that we can then schedule the interview. I am ready for him to be here already. Soooooooo stressful

Still waiting for our RFE (June 23,2016) response and I saw an update on the USCIS site today...

What does this mean?

"On July 13, 2016, your general inquiry, referral number WKDxxxxxc7CSC, was completed."

Got my approval on June 25, 2016 but we haven't received the email post decision activity yet. And I'm not worried we can always call the NVC to ask for our case.

My Fiance called yesterday and they say your case is not yet here, it will take about 2-6 weeks until you get the case number. We are about more than two weeks waiting now. Hopefully next week!!! Congrats to all who got approved!

Congratulations!!!! Nothing for us yet, hopefully today!

i would guess we're in the same batch... very similar dates. Hopefully we hear something before hitting triple digits. Have you called yet? Are you tracking cases around (y)ours?

I will pull numbers later and share either way... a bunch of apps from 04/07 have been processed this week alone.

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!
