Yes you can..i typed most of the stuff for our application and when i sent it to my fiance, i just told him to sign and date them using a pen. But make sure you use a regular black ink pen.

Thank you you clarifying . My OH is waiting for his birth certificate so we can file i129f and application for his passport. He doesn't have a passport yet as he said he never needed one but now that we are looking to file for k1 it would be better if he visits me in London to avoid any complications in future. We have everything ready just waiting on birth certificate. Its been over a month since he applied to have a replacement birth certificate copy. Praying it arrives soon now!

This is not true. Of course you can use what you want nut blue is totally fine too. We did ours in blue and as you see we had no issue.

Does anyone know what kind of information you can get from tracking your case through USCIS/ the app that was mentioned earlier while waiting for NOA 2? I am just able to track my case today, and all it says is that it was received. Will I get any details about my case before I receive the NOA 2 text/ email? Thanks!

As far as i was reading here it stays with this status till they either approve it or send a RFE.

Arrived at lockbox on 04/18

Today i received the text message that our case was received: 04/21 start with WAC.

So anyone knows that what is the NOA1 date?

Or i must wait till i get the hard copy of noa1, btw im still not able to check the case status. It states that the case number is not recognised.

Just one question: I can look at the status online but it says the same thing: sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.

All the notice said is that they forwarded the case to California. Will that stay the same until it gets approved which can take around two moths from what I read hear.

From my understanding, ur correct!

There is no change after they receieved ur i-129f until RFE/Approval.

You will only received an email pertaining to NOA 1, after that you can monitor thru the app. It will show either approved or RFE. No email or text of the approval prior to NOA 2 letter.

Here's a trick if you have not yet tried. Key in WAC but change the last 2-3 numbers and change no of hits. With this you will see the other cases before you and see the approval trend.

Hello everyone!

We sent our I-129F packet last April 11, 2016 and got the email notification from USCIS acknowledging they recieved our package last April 18, 2016. Now we are waiting for the hard copy in the mail. We filed it to Dallas TX lockbox and was forwarded to California Service Center.

I've heard that it is much faster to receive the NOA2 if your case is forwarded to CSR. I hope this is true. We are anxious ? and excited ? (like everyone here ?) for the NOA2.
