So hard to see people after us getting approved :(

So hard to see people after us getting approved :( but congrats though!!

I know the feeling - I was going crazy everyday looking at the app and 300 cases before and 200 after mine. It is a gut wrenching wait but it will happen hang in there. It is a hard process - they don't tell you it is anxiety packed ?

If anyone is wondering how to get in contact with NVC to see if they have logged your case, I am finding email is a good way to communicate. Their email is: NVCInquiry@state.gov and here is what you would write in the email:

Case Number:
Petitioner's Name / Date of Birth:
Beneficiary's Name / Date of Birth:
My full name(person sending email):

Good morning,

(Date you received NOA2), the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) mailed a notice that they have approved our I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

If at all possible, would it be okay to request this information?

1. Have you received our petition at the NVC?

2. Has the (enter name of consulate your case will be going to) consulate case number been assigned yet? If so, what is the number?

3. When will our case file be sent to the (name of consulate) consulate and what is the DHL tracking number?

I have sent two emails and they have responded back within 2-3 days. Still no case number for me, but hoping after 3 weeks we will have something! Hope this helps some of you!

This is a great idea if it works! Much better than waiting 20 minutes on a call. Thanks for sharing. I will test it in a week when I start calling

Yes that sounds just like us too! I am in the middle of 6 cases and they were all approved in June except for mine and the one directly behind me... It is so frustrating!

So hard to see people after us getting approved :( but congrats though!!

Right there with you. The case numbers immediately before ours and after ours were both I-129F (the same as ours) and both were approved, while ours remained untouched. Just doesn't make any sense to me. Seriously, I just don't see the logic in how these cases are processed. Some folks suggest that cases are reviewed out-of-order and at random, but c'mon, how is it that those case numbers surrounding mine are reviewed and approved, but mine is left untouched?
