Today I checked our status and thank you Lord!!! After 71 days of waiting, we are finally approved!!! ... Will update timeline here... ?

AOS 2017: 

2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed. 

2/10/2017: Fingerprint fee received

2/14/2017: NOA1 received through text and email

2/14/2017: Cheque was encashed

2/17/2017: NOA1 hard copies received for AOS, AED and AP via mail. 

2/21/2017: Called USCIS to update DOB on AED due to typo error on NOA1 hard copy received.

3/11/2017: DOB updated in AED

3/11/2017: Biometric letter received via mail. 

3/21/2017: Biometric scheduled and DONE in York, PA.

4/26/2017: Called USCIS for service request on AED since Its more than (75 days). Rep provided a reference #.

4/27/2017: (AED)Service request completed

5/3/2017: (AED) Card Is Being Produced 

5/8/2017: Approval notice for both AED and AP received through mail. 

5/8/2017: Card Was Mailed To Me 

5/10/2017: Combo Card (AED & AP) received

6/24/2017: (Greencard) Card is being Produced | NO INTERVIEW

Me & my fiance got a RFE on the 24th :( when we did the paperwork we didnt explain 100% that we met on okcupid we just said we met online etc... So we got the rfe on the mail yesterday and it says they need proof that the pge is not an IMB... We re already working on the info to send the RFE back to Cali with the information they requested.

How do you know when you get an RFE on the the website?

.04/23/2016: Mailed my I-129F packet via USPS EXPRESS MAIL to Louisville,TX :dance:
04/25/2016: Received a text msg that my Packet was picked up and signed for at the PO BOX (2 days)
04/28/2016: Check was cashed! (3 days)
04/28/2016: NOA1 text. Case routed to CSC

07/06/2016: Text that my case was approved (68 days)

07/12/2016: hardcopy NOA 2 (6 days)

07/27/2016: NVC received my petition (21 days from NOA2)
07/28/2016: NVC assigned a case number (1 day)
08/01/2016: NVC sent out our case (IN TRANSIT-4 DAYS)

How do you know when you get an RFE on the the website?

/// yeah, i checked the app and it was there then i got an email. We had to wait for the letter to know what the RFE was about

We are still waiting for NVC, from what other people says here it will typically take 2 weeks until you get the NVC...

First of all Congratulations on your approval!

We are still waiting for NVC, from what other people says here it will typically take 2 weeks until you get the text notifying you that your case have been forwarded to the embassy where your beneficiary lives. (Correct me if im wrong)

It should be 2 weeks, but if you check the past months threads people are reporting its taking a lot longer (about a month or more). Hope it doesn't take long for you. Good luck

Approved. Faux pas we overlooked, that they gave us a pass on:

- No TOS for online site where we met (maybe since we gave the name of the site, and specified in our letters of intent that it was a dating site, that was all they really needed)

- Didn't copy the back side of the birth certificates. I understand, after the fact, that this is an instruction.

Our approval came at 9:30 PM, eastern time. The USCIS android app sent me the initial message. On the USCIS account log in, the last touched date updated from 4/11 to 7/1. I checked it throughout the day, so I know this date didn't update until recently, tonight.

I wasn't expecting the message to come at 9:30, and was half expecting I'd only know by checking it myself after reading how others found out, so FYI for all of you still waiting.

4-6-2016: I129F Sent

4-13-2016: NOA1

7-1-2016: NOA2

7-26-2016: NVC Received, Case number assigned

7-31-2016: Consulate received, status ready

8-11-2016: Medical

9-1-2016: Consulate Interview

11-10-2016: AOS package received

11-30-2016 NOA1 Text/Email
