Well, case # was received June 6th which was about 20 days after NOA2. Hard copy of NOA2, can't remember how long after but it was pretty quick since I live in Los Angeles.

Okay. Thats great! Thanks! Ive heard that you can actually call the NVC for your case number after 5 days since the NOA2 text receive? Coz the email takes forever to arrive. We want to do that but have you done this? Anyone here done this? Thanks again for your answer! ?

Don't call that early. I have yet to see anyone get their case # that quickly. Plan on 2.5 to 3 weeks. Call the 0888 number and just press 1

When you get case # go to BPI and pay. Wait 4 hours and schedule interview for at least 3 weeks out from when you received case from NVC. Schedule medical and fill out DS-160. All you need for medical is the Appointment Confirmation letter for the interview.

Eventually you will get the NVC Case Letter in the mail to the petitioner and you can scan that and send that to the beneficiary. That will be needed for interview.

You get the medical results handed to you in a sealed envelope when you are done and you bring that to the interview as well as the other stuff, CENOMAR, NBI Clearance, Birth Certificate, Passport etc etc

Start watching your case status here about a day after receiving case #

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

It will go to In Transit to Ready and will state your case is ready for interview...blah blah blah

That should happen within 3-5 days.

Since they give you the results at the end of the medical, you can do that any time.

Interview is really easy as long as you are confident and can prove you are genuinely in love and passionate about this.

The Philippines process is really in your control once you have the case #. It's nice!

Gary

Oh no. What is BPI?.. what do I have to pay?.. I thought we get the letter, then our info goes to NVC then we get a letter from them, then the consulate. This sounds completely different than what I've understood about what I've read. I understand I have to pay for the doctor visit and the interview.. but what is BPI?
