USCIS releases a report that shows how many k1 applications they received per quarter but they dont break it down by month. The numbers you see most talk about here are people who have filled out a VJ timeline which is a small percentage of what the USCIS receives. It still does provide a rough look into where the USCIS is processing wise and month wise.

Congrats NOA2ers!

I don't know if this is the same as asking how long a piece of string is, but how long do you all reckon until we are with our loved ones? Is October wildly ambitious?

A couple weeks ago we did some guesstimates based on quarterly report metrics and VJ stats and I was guessing most POEs would be around mid-October to early November. Now, based on the pace that USCIS is moving, though without reviewing the data again, I think the range will be mid-September to late-October. October is definitely not ambitious, unless your petition gets delayed for unforeseen reasons.

its just mid week and they are already faster than last weeks rate (12 per day vs 16 per day). If we start getting more of those late March/Early April NOA2 approvals going then we might see a reduction in days for NOA2 but even then we need a lot more of those to counter the large number of 84-100 day approvals. I think our original estimates are a pretty good guess at this point

Congrats NOA2ers!

I don't know if this is the same as asking how long a piece of string is, but how long do you all reckon until we are with our loved ones? Is October wildly ambitious?

I have my estimated dates on a post it next to my desk to remind myself to be patient.

NOA2 : JUL 5 (98 days - could be up to 5 days sooner from what we've seen recently)

NVC received - AUG 5 (31 days - don't think this will be sooner since this waiting time is been getting a little longer)

NVC approved - AUG 12 (7 days)

CONSULATE received - AUG 19 (7 days)

CONSULATE interview - OCT 30 (72 days)

I took this estimated dates considering:

1) Not the best/shorter estimated times, but not an RFE or another delay either.

2) The timeline trends will continue to get longer at the same pace as they have

3) Considering my country (Mexico) average interview time for last year.

I feel october is unlikely for you, but could be possible if the days for NOA2 start decreasing and you live in a country where consulate times are fast. Good luck!!
