It's very quiet on here this morning? Oddly enough I fear there would be more approvals like it was yesterday morning.

  • 04/27/16 ✔ I-129F Packet Sent to Lewisville, TX Lock Box via USPS Overnight EXPRESS Mail.✔
  • 04/28/16 ✔ Delivered by USPS AT 11:39AM. Delivery Confirmation via email by USPS.
  • 05/02/16 ✔ Check Cashed Electronically (No text or email received with the notification)
  • 05/03/16 ✔ Email & Text stating paperwork was received on 04/28, accepted and rerouted to CSC.
  • 05/12/16 ✔ Called USCIS to request a hard-copy of NOA1 which was not received (Original NOA1 was never received or located).
  • 05/29/16 ✔ Actually finally received NOA1 hard-copy after numerous calls after USPS returned 2nd NOA1 as being undeliverable.
  • 07/08/16 ✔ NOA2 APPROVED!! All the apps started going off one after the other. Last notice I received is the text from USCIS.
  • 07/12/16 ✔ Hard Copy of NOA2 received!
  • 07/14/16 ✔ Received email at 2217hrs of "POST DECISION ACTIVITY" regarding file being forwarded from USCIS to NVC.

Nah, as otto correctly predicted yesterday morning approvals was likely because an automated job failed monday night. Monday night was awfully quiet , so something probably went wrong and they corrected it in the morning resulting in 2 processes. Its safe to assume that todays approvals will come in a regulary scheduled at night

I don't know if this is the same as asking how long a piece of string is, but how long do you all reckon until we are with our loved ones? Is October wildly ambitious?

Nice, congrats to all the approvers...man this is getting real. Feb and March both had close to 400 filers on VJ itself while April is closer to 310. With some of the early filers being approved at 70 day mark it should lead to some fast approvals *fingers crossed*

I am hoping for a September/October interview and approval, at this rate. But then again it may depend on country because it seems that after the NVC the process timeline differs from country to country....

I don't know if this is the same as asking how long a piece of string is, but how long do you all reckon until we are with our loved ones? Is October wildly ambitious?

It all depends on potential delays. A RFE would make it almost impossible to be there in October as it will slow you down with 2-4 weeks. If the good rates that NOA2s are arriving at keep up or increase, NVC keeps up the speedy work and you prepare beneficiary's and petitioner's documents and have them ready to send right after you receive the package I'd say even late September is doable. It also depends on consulate and how fast they can schedule your interview. It just all has a lot of IFs. Let's hope we are lucky enough to breeze through the process :)
