Ive also read it depends if theres a crisis in a particular country as to whether they move certain applications to the front of the line. Like when the Philippines had the big typhoon they were getting noa2's in less than a month. Some were 2 weeks. I understand why they do it. I still just dont think its fair.

Expedite for I129F???? I called and checked and there was no expedite for I129F for K-1s???

Whoever you talked to did not know what they were talking about. You can request can expedite but it can only fall under certain categories. It is not limited to certain countries.

We don't know if ours was approved yet or not though.

Yes correct. You can request and expedite after 5 months. And certain countries can request from the very beginning. At least this is what I have read a million times on VJ.

I wasnt saying wait 5 months. But if you dont receive any movement after 5 months then you can request an expedite. I was only referring to the question of "why Haiti". And I covered that by saying depends what kind of crisis that country is having. If we want to nit pick I'm sure we can find a gazillion different reasons and scenarios.

Yeah any country can file at any time. My fiancé is from England. In our instance the criteria for expediting was based off of me, not my fiancé.

Then everyone should file to expedite.

No, one should only file if they feel that they meet one of the requirements from the USCIS website as listed above. & then even if you do feel that you meet the requirements, that doesn't mean that the USCIS will feel the same way.

I call it like i see it. Everyone on here has an opinion and everyone quotes the uscis website. And then nothing goes as planned. Like some get rfe for one thing and dont for others. Uscis dont even follow their own rules. And thats a FACT. I was answering questions based on what I read other VJ members experienced. That might not constitute a fact to u... But it did for them. Bye

I get the counts from Igors List http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl=. This is a list of everyone who has created a timeline here on VJ and using the filters you can calculate the stats :)

How and where can you check the statistics?
