Hi there, how do we know that there was a seasonal spike of H1-B expedites? And that they are done with those?

Just trying to follow the logic and hope the approvals pick up soon :)

Hey everyone! We're a late April filer (27th). Been following this forum...everyone's so positive, its great!

KristaW - H1B filing opens up in April. They normally meet their quote within a couple of weeks of opening up applications. The visa's get issued out/granted till Oct or so. So its a presumption, but a good chance it's the cause for slowing down of processing times.

ugh, i'm so anxious at this point ! i can't wait to get that NOA2.. thank God i'm gonna see my love in 2 weeks :dancing:...

i have a question about my case, 1- me and my fiance met in October and got engaged in end of may ... will this be considered too soon to get the k1 approved ?

I don't think there's a problem with your case as long as you have proof that you two met in person like pictures, for them (USCIS) to believe that you have a legit and honest relationship. If you have it then you dont have to worry.

On day 28 of waiting for NOA2, time is sort of dragging and sort of flying. Is it worth doing something like my police certificate, considering our NOA2 is predicted for July 26th?

We did. At the very least it's worth it to make sure you have all the required documents. My fiance had to order his birth certificate. The police certificate is good for a year. I've read on here, that it's okay to get it about three months ahead of the anticipated interview date.

We're trying to do as much as possible so we're ready when the NOA2 finally does come. Tie up all the loose ends that could cause delays later. He had to update his immunization records and get the documentation from his doctor's office.

Good luck to you!

I think is better to get the police certificate after you get the NOA2, i guess there's an expiration date for that. If its a year from its expiry then why not.

Me too, i get excited but at this moment i would make a photo collage maybe we'll need it.

I plan to get every documents needed after I receive the I-134 from my fiancé.

Lets keep on hoping we get our NOA2 soon.... Yey!!!!

I thought the police certificate is good just for 3 months, is that depend of the country? and the birth certificate is also 3 months, doesn't it? that's why I didn't start yet to get my papers

I see one March 11th now :D it's getting closer!!

I read that February and March fillers started getting processed when the month before them was aprox. 50% completed on Igor's list.

Right now march is 10%, and they started processing them aprox. on May 17. That means it took 2 weeks for 10%, but at that time they were still processing February, so from now on it's gonna move faster, let's say twice as fast. So then it will take one week for every other 10%. I'd say we have to wait 4 more weeks until we start seeing april cases processed. Although we need to also consider that there were more March applicants than February, so maybe its gonna take a little longer than that.

I obsessively look at the app where you can search receipt numbers close to yours and an I-129-F petition with a WAC receipt that is 8 numbers away from mine got an RFE yesterday and another that is about 25 numbers away from mine also got an RFE today.... Obviously getting an RFE isn't ideal but at least it means that they are working on April cases!
