Timeline

Your stats for the week. Last night 5 NOA2s were received ( 1 was from a Nov 2015 member but they didn't have a timeline ).

Week of 23rd May -> 6 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 27 at 5.4 cases per day.

There is some disconnect between the "whos left" and "who got a NOA2 last" list. Its not lining up and the lists are live. Change your dates in the timeline and you'll jump between the months in RT.

I have an idea of what could be.. Maybe more users signing up daily and creating new timelines. That may be the reason the numbers are not dropping.

I wonder if March is a big submission month for petitions because people want summer weddings. Seems like a few submission-heavy months and CSC doing all petitions is a perfect storm for increased processing times. I read in another thread that they're processing WAC16903-30,000s; not sure how accurate this is, but that suggests there's nearly 100,000 petitions ahead of mine as a late april petitioner. That seems totally inaccurate to me, but what do I know, right? Perhaps the receipt numbers were deciphered wrong.

Based on the trend and projected NOA2 dates, I'm feeling like April petitioners should expect point of entries closer to Oct or Nov.

In another visa site it says that the lowest filing moths are in winter and spring and summer picks up- Then again it does not make sense to wait for several months to apply when you want to be with the person you love and life partner. It still is unclear why some cases with the same receipt date - April 25 either got an RFE or were approved (2 that I see) Plus also realized not everyone who applies for an I-129 F registers with visa journey. Our estimates hopefully will be better and we will all get out approvals now between June and July to have POE by September or early October. I just want to be legally married if it's a fall, winter, summer wedding Indont care Injust want it to be soon! ?

I dont know about being behind by a couple 100000. If you look at this they receive about 13000 I-29Fs per quarter and they clear out a good chunk too while having a pending pile

2015 - https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/All%20Form%20Types/all_forms_performancedata_fy2015_qtr4.pdf

I would say maybe 30,000 behind or so would be right or even maybe even less ( I have a feeling im doing the math wrong here)

Nice find!

Yes, it didn't make any sense to me that there would be 100,000 pending petitions at 70+ days between NOAs. That would make for hundreds of thousands of petitions a year. Roughly 30,000-50,000 K visas are issued annually at I think around 50% approval to application rates.

If they're receiving 13,000 or so petitions per quarter, that's probably 4,000-5,000 per month, maybe higher for spring, particularly March it seems. For the end of March, it states 15,767 pending, almost 3,000 increase of petitions from FYQ1 at the end of Dec. Based no VJ petitions for April that you've been keeping track of, it looks like April had less submitted than March, probably still 5,000+ or so. My guess would be closer to 20,000 pending at the moment.

Q1 they processed 14,456 and Q2 they processed 11,492, so it looks like they've slowed in the processing as well. That's still not bad, though. If they're processing 10,000-15,000 per quarter, that's still keeping pace with the monthly submissions. A couple more months for April petitions sounds about right.

The approval rate for this FY is 86.6%.

In audition, you can see a slow down in the second quarter and a marked decrease in April since as of April 1 is the time to accept I129 for HB1 employment visas and employers often pay a premium for expedite service and they get priority. We can speculate but hang in there and positive that time will pass quickly and we will get our NOA2!

Apparently they get less petitions during the 4th and 1st quarters.

Trends of the I-129F petitions

-Less are filed during the winter months. From 4th quarter to 1st quarter (10% lower)

-More are submitted over the summer months. From 2nd and 3rd quarter (10% higher)

Trends of I-129F Approvals:

-More approvals happen generally over the winter months. From 4th quarter to 1st quarter.
