Finally received the text and email that they received the packet on 04/28/2016 and it has been routed to CSC for processing. Unfortunately I can't share the great news with Thin Thin yet as the iPhone cable is disabled and she has to replace it before I can talk to her or she can see her Facebook. Is there anyone else out there that had their paperwork delivered the same day?

  • 05/03/16 ✔ Email & Text stating paperwork was received on 04/28, accepted and rerouted to CSC.
  • 05/12/16 ✔ Called USCIS to request a hard-copy of NOA1 which was not received (Original NOA1 was never received or located).
  • 05/29/16 ✔ Actually finally received NOA1 hard-copy after numerous calls after USPS returned 2nd NOA1 as being undeliverable.
  • 07/08/16 ✔ NOA2 APPROVED!! All the apps started going off one after the other. Last notice I received is the text from USCIS.

It has been one month now since the creation of this topic... and it seems each day the CSC is getting more and more backlogged. How have you been doing?

I cannot imagine what it would be like if my fiance was far away like most couples in this forum are. Thankfully I live in Mexico, I have a visitors visa and we're just 22 miles apart so we see each other very often. But still, I don't know if you experience this too but being in this process I feel kinda put my life in stand-by. I don't like my job but don't think getting another one is a good idea since I'm going soon, I want to plan the wedding but don't know where to begin since I don't have a date, etc.

I hope you can share your experiences too!!

I cannot imagine what it would be like if my fiance was far away like most couples in this forum are. My fiancé and I are beyond frustrated and just want to start our lives together. We couldn't stand being apart anymore so he is coming a week from Friday and will be visiting for 2 months! Its not a perfect situation since he can't work while he is here so money will be tight but at least we can be together. You are so lucky that you live so close and can visit often! I hope everyone else is hanging in there...

Sadly for us my fiancé is all the way in Casablanca Morocco and I am in Puerto Rico. The plane ticket price is not for a couple of days plus it can be over 20 hours and he cannot fly to visit either. To this you add that taking a week from work doesn't happen lightly. We gave to be patient - easier said than done - thank God he has more patience than me :-) it is hard to plan a wedding and separate place, music etc when we cannot have a date. Apparently as I read spring and summer are the worst filing months. Good luck to all of us !

Oh yeah, I think we drove up there! He is from Ocean Beach or "OB" as the cool kids call it! Such a great place!

My fiance lives in downtown San Diego. Beautiful city!! I will love to be there.

Get to know your sub-forum for the UK. Many who have gone before you will understand the process where others here are working and trying to understand the country they are going to process through.

Get the UK K1 Embassy Letter (EL) at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/ as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed. http://london.usembassy.gov/

Ny packet was delivered on the 25th and I recived my Noa1 days later so now im just waiting for the noa2 ! Hopefully you wont wait long! Good luck!
