Hey, we filed our petition at the same date. And it seems like the results are the same too. I am also anxious and excited to see when they will approve. But patience, patience! It may be June 19 or so.

Hi

I have a question I receive my 1st NOA on Friday April 25 2016 with a received date of April 20 2016 with a notice date of April 22 2016 the notice has my fiancé name but not her daughter's name should I be worried

Our NOA 1 date is on 20 Apr, and untill now i check the case on the app and it still states "case number is not recognized..." Anyone experiences this :( I started worrying now.

That happened to me a few times before..i just made sure i typed in the right numbers. That's what worked for me. Like i know the feeling seeing that it was not recognized but i just typed it again and it went thru ?

April 11, 2016 *sent I-129f*

April 14, 2016 *received at CSC*

April 18, 2016 *email/text of NOA1*

April 23, 2016 *hardcopy of NOA1*

So I shouldn't contact my lawyer and ask him about it I just don't want this to hold anything up

It's up to you. But really isn't necessary. Even a lawyer isn't necessary.

On the I-129F all kids have to be listed if they come or not, so first when you fill up the DS-160 you do one for the child as well.

Also the medical and the visa fee, that's how they know you'll have a K-2 case also :)

When i payed the fee and did the DS-160 he (my boy) was also listed on all the stuff in the webpage and it went to two applicants :)

04/20/2016: NOA1 (CSC)

04/25/2016: NOA1 Hard copy

06/29/2016: NOA2 Case approved!(70 days)

07/02/2016: NOA2 Hard copy

07/22/2016:  NVC Case Assigned

07/25/2016: NVC In Transit

07/27/2016: NVC Case Ready

08/31/2016: NVC Letter

10/05/2016: Approved Medical Exam

10/13/2016: Approved Interview

01/25/2017: US Entry (SFO)

AOS Timeline:

04/27/2017: AOS,EAD,AP sent to Chicago, IL

04/28/2017: delivered/received package

05/02/2017: AOS, EAD, AP cases received thru sms/email

05/06/2017: 3 NOA1s received via mail with receipt notice dates 05/02/2017 (NBC)

07/21/2017: Biometrics done after 2 phone service inquiries and an infopass appointment

08/17/2017: EAD in production / AP no update since NOA1

08/23/2017: EAD/AP Combo card received

09/13/2017: Approved Interview

4/21/16 - I-129F Packet Sent to Dallas Tx Lock Box

4/25/16 - Fedex Delivery Confirmation

4/28/16 - Check Cashed Electronically

5/02/16 - NOA 1 Received by Mail (no email or text notification)

Routed to California Service Center

Receive date 4/25/16

Notice date 4/28/16

5/12/16 - Request for Expedite due to Financial Losses

5/26/16 - Request for Expedite denied

7/13/16 - Text and email notice of RFE - Forgot to check the little box saying "I am NOT a criminal"

7/15/16 - RFE hard copy received in Los Angeles, CA

7/18/16 - Responded to RFE same day mail

7/18/16 - Text and email RFE response received

7/21/16 - Petition APPROVED!!! (87 days)

7/21/16 - Post Decision Activity email received

Hi Everyone, I am just wondering whether both the USC and the foreign fiancé are supposed to receive physical copies of the NOA 1? I am the USC and I received mine over a week ago but my fiancé has not received anything in the mail. He is coming to visit on the 13th and wants to have a copy for customs in case they ask for it so I am wondering whether I should scan him my copy or not. Thank you!

Only the USC will receive NOA1.

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!
