I-129F April 2016 Filers

Just want to confirm with filers in the Philippines, when we scheduled the interview appointment online, we have selected to have the visa delivered to my fiance's house. But now we want to change it for pick up instead. I see that on the cgi website, we can change it. But if we changed it, is that going to be a problem?

Does anyone know if 1: The consulate receives the entire I-129F package including all documents, forms, pictures, history etc. from the NVC? and 2. Are you bringing a copy of this to the interview and is just a backup, just in case? And 3. If so, is just a printout of a .pdf of the original submission ok?

My lawyer decided to just send my fiancé all of the documents ​since the I129F, i.e. the affidavit of support, the latest chat logs, wedding receipts, etc. With his interview in 10 days, I need to figure out what to do.

This is so maddening and stressful. Today is the six week mark since NOA2 approval and NVC still hasn't received our case. USCIS can't even tell me where our case is or where it was last. USCIS Customer Service also told me that the six week wait is only a guideline and I must now wait a full ninety days before any investigation can begin to locate a potential missing case. Are you kidding me? Why the !$#* does it take USCIS three full months to send an approved petition??? I kindly requested a Tier II Supervisor who has the ability to track the case's movements and last known location. I was told that a Tier II Supervisor wasn't available to take my call. What a joke this has turned into. Nobody knows anything, and worse yet, nobody seems to care.

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it moves along quickly after this long wait. Just remember what you're fighting for....it's worth it in the end. Good luck!

Yes. I do believe they receive the entire packet. It is advised for your fiancé to have an exact replica of the packet that was submitted to USCIS on hand for the interview.
