NOA1- 5/18
NOA2 - 7/18
Medical Exam at Saint Luke's - 8/9-10
Interview - 8/17

I hope we don't get a 221g, my fiancé is deployed somewhere in the Middle East and the NVC letter hasn't reached his PO BOX yet. :(

Our lawyer said, it wouldn't be a problem going to the interview without the NVC letter. Any experience?

Another query: I'm concerned about our age gap. I'm the female, 23 years old, and I'm 2 years his senior. Lawyer says, it's not a big deal. Should I stop worrying?

*Pre interview jitters*

Any advice would be very beneficial. Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I am so happy to see how fast many cases are moving to interviews!

I am myself kinda behind on the process. I got RFE for one unchecked box on the petition and couldn't send a response fast because I was actually abroad with my fiance.

Now that I am back to the US I looked at the papers.

Do I need to remove page to where they just explain what an rfe is? Also I am confused with the envelope is it pre-paid or not? Do you just put a regular stanp or are there something I can do for it to be delivered faster than through regular mail box?

Hi All,

So my Fiance's medical is this Tuesday (her time). Both of us have a question about what documents to bring to St. Lukes.....we are bringing the following: embassy interview confirmation (2 copies), NOA2 and NVC letter with MNL number (2 copies), Printed SLEC registration (2 copies), DS-160 confirmation, 11,300 php fee, passport (2 photocopies), original passport, 2x2 passport photos (4 pictures), and some snacks and water for the wait.

Is there anything else that we are forgetting to bring? Thanks all for the assistance. These next 2 weeks will be the most exciting and nervous time for us with Medical, Interview and CFO!! Best of luck to everyone here and thank you for your advice :):):)

Hi!

I went for my medical examination at Saint Luke's Extension Clinic on August 9-10. The guards at the entrance asked for the following:

1. Original Passport;

2. 1 Photocopy of passport biographic page, portrait view, not enlarged;

3. Letter from the NVC stating that your papers has been sent to the consulate (I don't have this, so I brought a printed screen shot of the NVC "case ready" status, accepted without problems);

4. 4 US Passport photos, name must be written at the back without smears;

5. Interview appointment confirmation letter ( If available);

6. Payment: PHP 11,300; and

7. SLEC online registration form original and photocopy.

Good luck! :)

I'm interviewing in 2 days.

Fiance emailed me 2 letters that I will be bringing along: One that explains to the consular officer why I do not have an NVC letter (if they ever ask for it) and another from his Commanding Officer confirming that he is deployed.

Would this suffice? I can't get a hold of our lawyer and I'm severely worried. :(

Help?

They received my RFE reply on July 29th. When should I expect (hopefully) our NOA2?

The RFE was simply because I forgot to check yes or no in terms of committing a crime.

Starting to get down. We thought we would have it by now. :clock:

Also, when can I inquire? Or does the 5 month time get pushed back because of the RFE?
