It is saying my case isn't ready to book an interview today.

My case says in transit but also says "your interview date was provided to you by the NVC"

Confused ?

Yeah mine isn't ready yet either :(

The notice that says that the interview date was provided by the NVC is incorrect- mine says that too but I read somewhere that someone called NVC about that and they just said that it is an automated message and that K1s schedule their own!

Congratulations! It's a wonderful feeling to finally get your case number, isn't it? :)

After over 4 weeks since my NOA2, I finally received my case Number and Invoice on Monday. Strangely though, they said the file was already sent to Casablanca - without us submitting anything (paperwork, fees, or DS-160) to the NVC. I'm thoroughly confused as to what to do next. We filled out the DS-160 today but when you check it, it says simply "No Status". I tried to pay fees online and it tells me that the NVC already forwarded my case to the Embassy/Consulate, and any fees will be paid directly there.

I'd previously requested an expedite at USCIS and was denied. I requested one at the NVC stage before my case number was assigned, but received an e-mail stating they had no record of my case. I'm wondering if they went ahead and processed the expedite request but the rep didn't mention it to me at all. And I was in shock to hear the case was already shipped out, so I didn't think to ask for more details.

I'm thankful, just thoroughly confused at this point! And I can't express how happy I am to see all of you setting appointments for medicals and interviews... and seeing wedding dates! We're almost there!

We were the same as you.....file sent onto Embassy before we paid the fee. We had already done DS-160, but I also thought it was weird that it happened that way. I guess I don't care as long as there are no hold ups :)

Ditto on the confused part LOL!!!

Love seeing everyone's POE and Wedding dates!!!!!

How specific and accurate does the US Travel History portion of the DS-160 form have to be exactly? I've done my best to remember all of the visits, but being Canadian it's nearly impossible.

Hey! I read that if you are not sure of your exact dates, estimates are okay. Also, if you have gone a lot, provide the dates for the last 5 trips! Hope this helps. :)

Hey Everyone, It's so exciting to see everything starting to really move with our group! Congrats and good luck!!! :D

I have a question about evidence about ongoing relationship. I feel like I'm drowning in a glass of water but it is stressing me out so bad because I am so confused about what EXACTLY it needs to be? I'm not sure if it is just the Venezuelan embassy, but you are not allowed to bring folders or anything that closes or anything that isn't transparent, so I have no idea how I'm supposed to organize anything. is this just our embassy?

And what evidence do you bring? (I know obviously pictures) but actually Whatsapp messages? How many? From what time period? What about Skype calls? I'm just so confused :( any help or examples would be so appreciated. Thank you guys!!!

I am just clipping all the sheets of paper together with a big clip, just as we submitted our petitions. They may ask to see one or two things so it will be easier to pull out individual sheets.

I think we should include chats, pictures, trips, anything applicable to proof of relationship from when we filed in April to present. Personally I am also including booking confirmations from the church for our wedding date, and my wedding dress receipt.....I think any little thing to show that you guys have started planning, even if its in a small way, would be helpful. If you havent started planning on the wedding yet, stick to lots of photos, emails and chat information like in the first petition.

Is your case in Casablanca? If so, it does not follow the same process as UK, Manila, or others. The instructions we got is that we pay in the Embassy at Casablanca. THe files gets forwarded upon receipt of NVC number to the Casablanca Embassy, they will send the fiance the corresponding package and they will set the appointment date. The fiance will have to gather documents, and bring the copy of the DS-160 barcode sheet and the copy of the NVC case number, NOA 2 etc.

My fianceé already had his documents translated when we read our status was Ready at the NVC site -

We are almost there. :)

Congratulations! It's a wonderful feeling to finally get your case number, isn't it? :)

Hey all, Congrats on the NOA2s for everyone who has been waiting so long!! And melonshake for the approval <3 <3 <3!

I had my medical in London earlier this week so I thought I'd give you all a run down of how the procedure went so you guys will be familiar :).

My appointment was scheduled for 10.10am, I got the Underground Tube Line to "BOND STREET" and the practice was only about 5 minutes walk away. I arrived at 10am, you have to press the buzzer for Knightsbridge medical and the door will unlock. I reached reception and the lady behind the window asked for my name, time of appointment and to hand over my documents (police certificate copy, vaccination records, passport photos, medical questionnaire and form of ID, email confirmation of my appointment from embassy/screenshot print out of the CEAC NVC "READY" status). She kept all of this and handed me another health questionnaire to fill out in the waiting room. I handed this back to reception and waited to be called in by a nurse. At 10.15 a lady called my name and lead me to a room, she went over my vaccination history and I found out I only need one shot, however I chose to opt out of getting it there and then because I can get it for free from my GP. I did not need to give a urine sample (darn it I was holding it in for ages haha). I was then directed to another waiting room. By 10.25 I was called by another lady to do my chest xray in a different room. She asked me to undress from the waist up behind a screen and put on a robe, you then go infront of a black screen and press your chest, shoulders and elbows against it, take a deep breath....and your done! She told me to put only my bra back on for the physical and to cover up with the robe. I was directed back to the waiting room. After about 10 minutes another nurse called me in for my physical. First of all she goes over the questionnaire and clarifys my answers, then documents my height and weight and eyesight test (I kept my contact lenses in for this). She then checked out the rest of my body whilst I lay on a bed, things like blood pressure, heart rate, listen to your breathing, reflexes, ear/eye health and "down below" (which was very noninvasive). The last thing she did was take my blood (I hate needles!) It wasn't that bad in the end....! You then get dressed, go to reception, pay and then receive your documents/ID back! The receptionist said if we don't hear from them in 4 days then everything is fine. The staff and nurses were really nice and efficient...I was out by 11.15am. :dancing:

I hope this is helpful for some of you, this was done in LONDON ENGLAND. Please bear in mind the procedure may differ if you are from a different country. Bare in mind, for me, for the "letter/email from the embassy confirming case number / visa type" your embassy interview appointment confirmation email is enough (I took the CEAC status screenshot as a backup). I was concerned as I hadn't received a letter from the embassy yet in time for my medical, but the interview confirmation email was fine!

Good luck everyone!

One step closer to the interview! :goofy:

Congrats one step closer.

Not sure if you are aware that by not having the shot at the medical your vaccination are incomplete therefore you with have to see a civil sergon in the U.S. When AOS to fill in a vaccination report which will cost a bit and time and effort to find one that will do just the vaccinations and not require a full medical again, probably same as cost to get it done at London medical and would have saved you trying to find a CS that won't rip you off. But what's done is done for you, just a heads up to others get free shots before medical or in medical, will save time, effort and money in AOS stage.

Yes you can move it, by choosing to reschedule interview, you won't lose your original date until you confirm new date, but check daily as earlier dates come up all the time. I went from a date of August 1st to july 18th to July 7th in less the 24hr (this was back in June )
