LONDONERS. I just booked my visa interview online at the embassy last night for the start of September (this is the earliest they had!) Almost a whole month after my medical appointment. Just letting

I am so confused to where I should pay the visa fee

is it at cgifederal or at ceac.state?

According to ustraveldocs.com it looks like you can pay through cgifederal...

Do I need the NVC invoice nr to pay it?

hope it goes smoothly for you , i had medical on monday .. i have rescheduled interview 4 times so far because better dates come up .. my first one was 7th sept and i ve now got 23rd august.. good luck

So u can schedule interview and send in Ds160 when it's says in transit ... Don't have to wait for "ready" ?

OK, so I have been told that we can't schedule an interview until Packet 4 comes in from Montreal. However, online I have created an account on the US Consulate website and it is asking for my DS160 and case #, looks like I can schedule one once I fill that in - will it just be cancelled? Do we really have to wait until Packet 4 comes in?

Could I create an account and peak at the dates available?

yes we did ours as soon as it said in transit

Mine just changed to in transit and it is still saying that my case number is not ready for an appointment :(

Mhm, we submitted DS160 and the statement of readiness... it JUST switched to "in transit" so I am thinking that maybe we will have to wait until tomorrow when the London embassy opens and the system updates or something

Yes that's correct you have to wait until the day after, it first turns to in transit. So as long as you have sent in everything already it should let you book the following day.
