You can pay the visa fee after you got the case number. We actually paid ours the same day we were assigned a case number. :)

Good luck to us!

Thank you! I am planning to get an appointment for interview this coming 25th or 30th. Hope I get to have a vacant slot either of the two dates.

I have some questions about the Affadavit of support :-

1) Question 7 :- what is the difference between personal property and own real estate (a couple of lines below )

2) Question 11 : I see one sample checking yes for "intend" and another checing "do not intend" to make specific contributions. Any clue which one to select ?

There's an example form here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

That will give you an idea of how to answer the questions. Personal property includes things like cars, etc.; real estate includes land and homes. But for the purposes of the i-134, I've been made to understand that only second vehicles (considered "spare") can count toward your assets, and real estate evidence must also include any information on mortgages/liens, etc.

Yesterday, 25th has 24 available slots. 30, I believe still has many slots open.

If you pay right now, and you can schedule tomorrow, you might still get slot for the 25th. :)

Oh and by the way, we have scheduled ours on the 25th. :)

My fiance arrived at St Luke's at 5:20AM, finished day 1 of the medical exam at 9:30AM and made it back to the hotel in time for her free complimentary breakfast lol, they accepted the printed screenshot of the CEAC NVC website case status READY, so for those of you worrying about getting the NVC hard copy for the medical exam no worries. She needs to return tomorrow to have 4 immunization shots, and to pickup the medical report after releasing.

I FedEx her interview package with all of our relationship evidence and required documents Saturday 3:00PM, 15 hours ago it left the MEMPHIS hub In Transit to Philippines i assume, and has a guaranteed delivery date of Wednesday August 3 by 5:00PM local Philippines Time (August 3 by 2:00AM Pacific Daylight Time)

Next Step... Tuesday August 9, 7:30AM embassy interview!! (Monday August 8, 4:30:00 PM Pacific)

~Michael and Mildred :clock:

Congrats! Hope everything goes well to all of us!

So, for the medical, we can just provide them the screenshot that shows READY from CEAC NVC website? How about for the interview? Do we need to wait for packet 3, or can we provide a copy of the e-mail from NVC that shows our case number?

Thank you. :)

Great news!!! Hopefully they will add some more dates and you can get an earlier interview :)

Out of curiosity, was August 9th the earliest medical appointment available? I know my fiance is hoping to have his on Fri the 5th or Mon the 8th since he will be in London this weekend but he has to wait until tomorrow to call as they are closed for the night now.

So when I checked this morning (around 10 am London Time), our case was still 'In Transit' -- it's now switched over to 'Ready'!!! So we have just paid our fee and scheduled our interview and are soooo excited!! :dancing::dancing::luv::luv::goofy:

They received mine on the 29th as well and I got my case number today... they will probably have yours by tonight or tomorrow so you might want to try calling back sooner!

Their "please allow up to 2 weeks" stuff is a massive overestimate about how long it actually takes to assign a case number- I am pretty sure they just say that to prevent people from calling every hour like I did lol

CONGRATS!!! :)
