Interview booked for Monday, August 22, 2016. Yesterday the date changed from Availability from the beginning of the month to the 22nd of August overnight. Registered now for St Luke, mailed off duplicate petition packet yesterday to the PI. Once she gets that, she can set up CFO after reviewing everything in detail. FYI - Cost me $221 to FEDEX that packet to the PI. If I'd known, I would have scanned everything and did a dropbox so she could print it on her end but I had it all packaged and ready to go. OH! And packet in TRANSIT!!

doug they tried to get me at the Fedex Store wanted to charge me $135..... So I called the main office and the flat rate is $46 bucks .. it was something about the box or letter carrier you had to ship in.... Call the Fedex office with your receipt and ask about the shipping price for up to 20 letters and see if they can help

Thanks Kandikandi Houston we finally have a "GO" i repeat we have a "Go" for launch But got the it could take up to 2 weeks to get a case #.... will call bck later tonight about 8pm

LONDONERS. I just booked my visa interview online at the embassy last night for the start of September (this is the earliest they had!) Almost a whole month after my medical appointment. Just letting

I've been quite busy and unable to keep up with everyone's posts here, but I'm so happy to see progress for so many fellow April filers! :)

I see a lot of you have your NVC case numbers and even appointment scheduled - congratulations! It does make me worry a bit, though. My petition was approved by USCIS on July 1st and still, no case number by NVC and they continue to tell me that they've not received anything or the info isn't in their system, etc.

Should I be concerned? We sailed right through the whole USCIS process without RFE's. I know NVC states it can take up to 6 weeks for them to receive everything from USCIS but it seems like most folks are getting theirs within 2-3 weeks.

Thanks in advance for any input or advice you may have for me. :)

Does anyone know if its necesary to waitfor the nvc to tell ship my peyition to the embassy to schedule an appt? I already have an NVC case number and im just waiting for the embassy to receive it. My fiancee and i wanted to save some time so we already filled out the da169 and we are just waiting. I looked on the embassy info but it doesnt say anything regarding this at least that i can see and i inow some of you have already made your interview apptments any way i can too?

04/28/2016: Check was cashed! (3 days)
04/28/2016: NOA1 text. Case routed to CSC

07/06/2016: Text that my case was approved (68 days)

07/12/2016: hardcopy NOA 2 (6 days)

07/27/2016: NVC received my petition (21 days from NOA2)
07/28/2016: NVC assigned a case number (1 day)
08/01/2016: NVC sent out our case (IN TRANSIT-4 DAYS)

2016-04-16: Filed I-129F

2016-04-18: USPS tracking shows package as delivered

2016-04-20: NOA1 E-mail received. Routed to CSC for processing.

2016-07-13: NOA2 App Notification. (84 days)

2016-07-19: NOA2 Hard Copy Rec'd

NVC:

2016-07-28: NVC case received

2016-07-29: NVC case #

2016-08-02: NVC left to Embassy (In Transit)

Embassy:

2016-08-04: Case is "READY"

2016-09-07: Medical exam

2016-09-12: Interview (APPROVED)

2016-10-01: JFK POE (Ticket booked)

i think it does vary at the different embassies .. can t you find out on embassy specific website ? uk website was ais.usvisa-info.com

Hi everyone, quick question! (I'm a May filer but have been stalking your group for all of the helpful advice ?) I know it probably differs from embassy to embassy, but it seems we can schedule medical/appt right after we receive NVC number? Do I need to wait for it to get to the London embassy? I've gone through the April filers and it seems everyone is doing so...

When you all created your account on the embassy website where you schedule your appointment, did you put it in the name of the person going for the interview and not the applicant?
