2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed. 

2/10/2017: Fingerprint fee received

2/14/2017: NOA1 received through text and email

2/14/2017: Cheque was encashed

2/17/2017: NOA1 hard copies received for AOS, AED and AP via mail. 

2/21/2017: Called USCIS to update DOB on AED due to typo error on NOA1 hard copy received.

3/11/2017: DOB updated in AED

3/11/2017: Biometric letter received via mail. 

3/21/2017: Biometric scheduled and DONE in York, PA.

4/26/2017: Called USCIS for service request on AED since Its more than (75 days). Rep provided a reference #.

4/27/2017: (AED)Service request completed

5/3/2017: (AED) Card Is Being Produced 

5/8/2017: Approval notice for both AED and AP received through mail. 

5/8/2017: Card Was Mailed To Me

Is anyone expecting a packet 4? I'm only seeing packet 3s mentioned here, but according to the consulate for Bangladesh, the K-1 gets packet 4.

4-6-2016: I129F Sent

7-1-2016: NOA2

7-26-2016: NVC Received, Case number assigned

7-31-2016: Consulate received, status ready

Just got embassy case # but I dnt know what he Invoice # is used for. She said they're gonna send it to Vietnam today. How fast ??

Has anyone else planned their wedding?

My interview is August 26th and we have planned our wedding for the 22nd of September......

This time is best for both of our families and I know (granted I'm approved) I should get my passport back at the start of September.

04/15/16 ... I-129f mailed :goofy:

04/20/16...NOA1 notice date :dancing:

04/25/16... NOA1 email received from attorney :goofy:
06/24/16...NOA2 approval :luv:
07/20/16...Called up NVC and case number assigned. Booked medical for start of August.

08/02/16...MEDICAL COMPLETE.

Interview scheduled for the last week of August :clock:

For the medical exam, a screenshot of the READY status from the CEAC website and a copy of your embassy interview appointment confirmation is all you need from what I understand. You will need a copy of the NVC letter for the interview however from what I understand.

After our case number was assigned, our case status changed to READY in 6 days.

2016-07-01 ● USCIS: NOA2 I-797 hard copy letter
2016-07-11 ● USCIS: Post Decision Activity: Sending petition to NVC
2016-07-20 ● NVC: Petition received (22 days)
2016-07-20 ● NVC: Case number assigned
2016-07-25 ● NVC: Petition IN TRANSIT to embassy
2016-07-26 ● NVC: Petition READY at embassy (6 days)
St Lukes Medical exam
  • P11300 Medical Examination Fee
  • Valid passport, Beneficiary
  • [1] Photocopy of Passport Biographic/Data Page, Beneficiary
  • [3] NVC Letter or screenshot with Case Number
  • [3] Embassy Interview Confirmation from the U.S. Embassy
  • [2] SLEC Online Registration Confirmation form

YAY!! Our case arrived 2 days ago at the NVC, called today and the super nice lady gave me our case number!! So happy :dancing::dance::D

She also gave me our invoice ID, she said I'd probably want to know it...does anyone know what it's for?

Oh and since you can update your information with them (addresses, email addresses), you can register the foreign fiancé's email address while asking for your case number! They usually don't have it on file ^_^

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU - We will be with our significant others soooo soon!! :D

We got our case number on the same day as you guys. It stayed at NVC for 1-2 then a few hours earlier its already in TRANSIT. Though, I think it depends to where they will send it to. Base only on our timeline only.

AOS 2017:

OMG... So I have been calling NVC every day this week and have told me every time that they don't have my case, but I just called now and the woman told me that they received it on July 25?!? No number yet but its weird that no one has told me they received it until now...

07/06/2016: Text that my case was approved (68 days)

07/12/2016: hardcopy NOA 2 (6 days)

07/27/2016: NVC received my petition (21 days from NOA2)
