When our package arrived at NVC 2:30pm they didnt have the case number yet, then 3 hours later at 6:00pm they had assigned our NVC case number.

Thanks Kandikandi Houston we finally have a "GO" i repeat we have a "Go" for launch But got the it could take up to 2 weeks to get a case #.... will call bck later tonight about 8pm

LONDONERS. I just booked my visa interview online at the embassy last night for the start of September (this is the earliest they had!) Almost a whole month after my medical appointment. Just letting

yes ring around 8pm ... ours only took a few hours after receiving to get number

When our package arrived at NVC 2:30pm they didnt have the case number yet, then 3 hours later at 6:00pm they had assigned our NVC case number.

It's settled then, i will call after 3 hours or so for the case number, I really hope i'd get it later!!! :)

ours was exactly the same , rang in the morning , not received . rang at lunch time , received but no case number . rang at 8 pm and got it ... good luck on your next stage .. i got medical monday and interview on 31st aug

Just a question, can we apply and schedule for interview just by having a case number? Or my fiance needs to have the packet from embassy? How about for medical?

depends on the beneficiaries country ... uk can book medical . then went online and submitted ds160 paid fees and booked interview .. you need to go on conulate website for their country and find out .. good luck

our case is still in transit and we ve got it all done

If you have the case number you can pay the visa fee and submit the DS-160, then i think you can schedule the interview. When you receive READY status it will also give a message stating your case is ready for your interview, if you have already scheduled an interview please prepare your documents.

I just called the NVC about a 'READY' status as I wasn't sure what it means. Basically it means that they sent our case my fiance's country! I was confused because I thought it meant that it was ready to schedule an interview :D

Wow you were able to book your interview before it arrived at the consulate?? I thought that for the UK it had to arrive there first before the system let you book... great news!!

Wow you were able to book your interview before it arrived at the consulate?? I thought that for the UK it had to arrive there first before the system let you book... great news!!

nope i m all done and its still in transit .. its all done on london embassy site .. submit ds 160 , pay fees and book interview ... ve even changed interview twice because new dates keep coming up
