yes i did :D I hope you get yours too !

Does any one know whats next i have my case number know was that the only thing i was supposed to ask for ?? My fiance and I started his DS-160 app and we are almost ready to summit. We were just waiting on the NVC case number.. Also , does anyone have the link to track the case file? i know it has been postedbut the thread is super long now so not sure where to look for it.

04/25/2016: Received a text msg that my Packet was picked up and signed for at the PO BOX (2 days)
04/28/2016: Check was cashed! (3 days)
04/28/2016: NOA1 text. Case routed to CSC

07/06/2016: Text that my case was approved (68 days)

07/12/2016: hardcopy NOA 2 (6 days)

07/27/2016: NVC received my petition (21 days from NOA2)
07/28/2016: NVC assigned a case number (1 day)
08/01/2016: NVC sent out our case (IN TRANSIT-4 DAYS)

Thanks Kandikandi Houston we finally have a "GO" i repeat we have a "Go" for launch But got the it could take up to 2 weeks to get a case #.... will call bck later tonight about 8pm

Wow congrats! My noa2 is just a day after yours, i hope i'll get ours, too when i call. :) Good luck!

Thank you! and i see by your time line its a day after wow i hope you hear something soon like Chipmunck said i would just keep calling lol.

THe times I found best to call was at 6 am Pacific and 8pm pacific

I called the 1-603-334-0888

I recommend calling this number rather than the immigrant visa number. If you call the other one and ask questions, you will get answers from immigrant visa perspective, which will cause confusion. For just asking for the visa number though, I guess both work.

4-6-2016: I129F Sent

4-13-2016: NOA1

7-1-2016: NOA2

7-26-2016: NVC Received, Case number assigned

7-31-2016: Consulate received, status ready

8-11-2016: Medical

9-1-2016: Consulate Interview

11-10-2016: AOS package received

Does anyone know how many times we can call the NVC before i annoy them ? i called yesterday and they told me that they have received my petition and to call next week so I (being impatient) called this morning and no case number yet... can I call later or would that just annoy them ? do they keep record?

Don't worry about bothering them at all! I called yesterday, twice, and got the same person both times....I apologized to bugging her and she reassured me that that's what they're there for......she still gave me the generic notification about how it may take up to so many weeks......blah, blah, blah.....and I responded with "talk to you tomorrow then" :)

Guys, just try again 0700 line, and they confirmed they received our petition today :))))))

I would rather recommend you guys to call 0700, u might spend longer but accurate update on ur case. I called 0888 just 10 minutes before calling 0700 but they said not yet received after 2 minutes waiting.

She said i should wait up to 2 weeks for them to input info but I enclosed telling her I will call back tmr :)))

Probably best to call both numbers. Yesterday I was asked for my receipt number and I gave it to the woman. I didnt hear her inputting it into a computer or anything. It was kinda like "ok whats your receipt number? Oh and what is the date of your approval?" As soon as I said July 11th she said "you're calling too soon sir because it takes 6 weeks to us to receive it". I dont even believe she checked. As soon as she heard the date it gave her a chance to get rid of me. Lol
