I've been reading on this site there are more forms to fill out once the Noa2 is received and it is forwarded. Do I have to fill out anymore forms or is it all for my fiancé to fill out? Will they be provided to her? I'm just wondering what the next steps are.

Once the NOA2 is received then the USC will start doing the I-134 form and supporting document and send to the beneficiary so he/she can bring them with her to the interview. (Look at the guides)

And the DS-160 which the beneficiary will fill out the embassy will guide you to that form when you hear from them. (After NVC has send the package to them)

I know someone got approved 25 days from NOA1 date. By far, this is the fastest one. I wish everyone of us gets a smooth process along the way :dancing:

We were approved 16 calendar days from NOA 1 date; that was in August 2015. Some cases then were approved in an average of 2 weeks at CSC. Now that they are routing all K1 to CSC, things are now slowing down. Still CSC is faster than the waiting time in TSC. Some cases still pending in TSC counting months for those who filed before the transfer. Some people were caught up few days before they routed to CSC.

It has been determined that the I-134 Affidavit of Support, unlike the I-864 Affidavit of Support used for Marriage Visas and Permanent Residency applications cannot be lawfully enforced due to the non-immigrant nature of a K visa.

can someone explain what lawyer says? I-134 Affidavit of Support it's a must or not? maybe it's a must because K1 visa still leading to immigrant status? then whats the best time to fill it out?

The attorney i went to see told me that the affidavit that is summited (I-134) is a legal non-binding one. Even though you agreeing to support the person you want to sponsor you will not be forced or anything. BUT once they enter you have to fill out another affidavit ( I-864) during the AOS, so keep in mind that this one is legally binding. **This is what I was told but i am not 100% sure**

Hi!

It's been 12 days since we filed and no NOA1 yet. My fiancé is Californian and I'm Canadian, so it would of been sent to California via our attorney. Any idea what's the hold up?
