Our case was updated from At NVC to In Transit today at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

In other news, cost me $160 to send my post-NOA2 packet to Moscow :dead:

Do you use your NVC number to track on the CEAC? Why I typed mine in, it said 'invalid case'.

Yes, it should work. Keep trying it, I got that message once too, not sure why. I think maybe because of the Captcha.

Visa Application Type should be IMMIGRANT VISA (IV).

Then type your case number,

then the code shown

And it should work. Try that.

Still waiting for NVC to release a case number, but doing my best to prepare in advance.

I just want to be clear: only the I-134 and the DS-160 forms are needed for a K1 interview, correct?

I have been reading several forums (many date back to 2010 / 2011) and I am confused. I suspect that the names of and the number of forms needed for the interview have changed since then. Is this true?

Should we worry about the DS-156k, DS-156 and the DS-230 prior to the interview? Also, and maybe most important, my fiancé has limited internet resources. Is there anything preventing me from completing the online DS-160 form on her behalf?

Thanks to all for responding. Maybe I am just exhausted, but these final (post NOA2) stages seem complicated and confusing.

Blessings to all,

Gregory & Dyn

Yes, the I-134 and the DS-160 form. Nothing else (talking about forms).

DS-156k, DS-156 and DS-230 they are all gone. They changed it to one form which is the DS-160 for K1/K2.

And dont forget the rest of the supporting documents for the benificary's interview (PHILIPPINES)

Sadly, still waiting. Aside from the DS-160 and the I-134, I am prepared to send my fiancé a complete copy of the same packet I sent with the original I-129F including updated / signed letters of intent, and a few other items. I am also sending her a photo album to carry and share in the rare instance somebody wants to see additional pictures. As an afterthought, I might also include addition proof of ongoing relationship (between I-129F and current).

Thanks for the reply, and good luck. Glad to see that yours is in transit. That's a BIG deal. Yay!

You're welcome! Are you sending those documents you mentioned through mail?

My Fiance scanned all the documents that I needed and I just print it out. Less time consuming and stress-free. Is up to you though ?. Anyway good luck to both of you.

Is the affidavit of support mandatory?

My fiance sent me copy (and the ones requiring a signature are originals of course) of all the papers he sent in and affidavit of support is not in it. Should I tell him to print one out, fill it in and send it to me?

Our case was approved and is on its way to NVC, do I need it for the interview?
