Just wanted to provide our timeline information for all the other impatient people out there waiting. I called the NVC this morning and got our case number.

NOA1 - April 6, 2016

NOA2 - June 23, 2016

NVC Received - July 22, 2016

Hi All,

Just wanted to provide our timeline information for all the other impatient people out there waiting. I called the NVC this morning and got our case number.

NOA1 - April 6, 2016

NOA2 - June 23, 2016

NVC Received - July 22, 2016

Hang in there and good luck.

Congrats to you!!! :) We are hoping to get ours within this week. Almost 1 month of waiting for our case number. Good luck to the next steps. :dancing:

AOS 2017: 

2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed. 

2/10/2017: Fingerprint fee received

2/14/2017: NOA1 received through text and email

2/14/2017: Cheque was encashed

2/17/2017: NOA1 hard copies received for AOS, AED and AP via mail. 

2/21/2017: Called USCIS to update DOB on AED due to typo error on NOA1 hard copy received.

3/11/2017: DOB updated in AED

3/11/2017: Biometric letter received via mail. 

3/21/2017: Biometric scheduled and DONE in York, PA.

4/26/2017: Called USCIS for service request on AED since Its more than (75 days). Rep provided a reference #.

4/27/2017: (AED)Service request completed

5/3/2017: (AED) Card Is Being Produced 

5/8/2017: Approval notice for both AED and AP received through mail. 

5/8/2017: Card Was Mailed To Me 

5/10/2017: Combo Card (AED & AP) received

6/24/2017: (Greencard) Card is being Produced | NO INTERVIEW

So I'm still waiting for NOA2, 103 days now ? Londoners, how long is it taking for you to get through the NVC stage to scheduling your medical and interview? I was hoping to be able to move at the end of November, just wondering if it would be possible to complete everything in that time or whether I should make alternative arrangements.

4 months 4 days for mine. Hang in there at the moment your still set for the end of Nov x

Just sticking in a comment here since I was an April filer so I can follow the thread as well :)

Got my NoA1 on April 28th and NoA2 on 8th of July so still waiting for the NVC notice and case number :P

Seems like NVC is still slow though...

Hey! We have almost the exact same dates for filing and receiving our NoA2! Let me know when NVC receives it and i will do the same!

No, you do not need to wait until it says "READY". Ours was in transit when we paid. Priority date is for a different type of visa, I found on VJ that most others use NOA1 date, so I did the same.

Yes, Case ID is NVC #. I forget what I put for State, probably just put her province in there.

I'm firmly convinced this entire process is rigged with boobie traps to keep us confused and our anxiety levels high! Nothing is straight forward...

My NOA2 date was 7/14 and I called the NVC on Friday just in case miracles happen... They told me that they had not received my case yet, but recommended that I call back this week! I was surprised they they even said that considering they have been telling people that it could take up to 6 weeks.

For anyone who has filled out the DS160--when you get to the family information, are you using the maiden name or married name for the visa holder's mother? Or should I do something like Jane Smith--nee Johnson?

Called NVC today, got my case and invoice number and they said my case was received on the 23rd (a Saturday??). Paid my fee on US Travel Docs and I guess all I can do now is wait for Sydney to give me my interview date! So exciting :)

We have the same date! I just called and they gave me the same speech about waiting 6 weeks. Ill call every other day but with Algeria we still have a 2 month wait for an interview regardless so we are almost done with the DS 160 and hopefully we can find an interview date not so far out. Good luck!!
