Just rang again and our case hasn't been received yet, but I'll try again later tonight!

NOA1: April 11

NOA2: June 28

Friends of ours, though, who were approved on July 8th, have had their case received at the NVC today! Theirs was sent by the Potomac Service Center -- seems pretty quick!

2015

July 9: First Date in London

2016

March 1: Belated Leap Day Engagement

Mar 26: Mailed I-129f packet to Dallas Lockbox via Tracked Royal Mail from England

July 25: Case # Assigned {4 months since Mailing Day back in March!}
August 1: 'Ready' Status at the Embassy!
September 8: Interview Date!
November 22: Courthouse Wedding date (North Carolina)
December: Filed for Adjustment of Status
2017

May 19: Big Fat American Wedding date (Maryland)

July: Green Card Received!

2019

July: Filed for Removal of Conditions

July: 18-month Extension Received

Thanks Kandikandi Houston we finally have a "GO" i repeat we have a "Go" for launch But got the it could take up to 2 weeks to get a case #.... will call bck later tonight about 8pm

Friends of ours, though, who were approved on July 8th, have had their case received at the NVC today! Theirs was sent by the Potomac Service Center -- seems pretty quick!

I called this morning too and I was told that they haven't got ours yet. Our NOA2 was Jun 30th. Will try again later. Keep us updated!!! :) We will have ours soon. :clock:

I called this morning too and I was told that they haven't got ours yet. Our NOA2 was Jun 30th. Will try again later. Keep us updated!!! :) We will have ours soon. :clock:

AOS 2017: 

2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed. 

2/10/2017: Fingerprint fee received

2/14/2017: NOA1 received through text and email

2/14/2017: Cheque was encashed

2/17/2017: NOA1 hard copies received for AOS, AED and AP via mail. 

2/21/2017: Called USCIS to update DOB on AED due to typo error on NOA1 hard copy received.

3/11/2017: DOB updated in AED

3/11/2017: Biometric letter received via mail. 

3/21/2017: Biometric scheduled and DONE in York, PA.

4/26/2017: Called USCIS for service request on AED since Its more than (75 days). Rep provided a reference #.

4/27/2017: (AED)Service request completed

5/3/2017: (AED) Card Is Being Produced 

5/8/2017: Approval notice for both AED and AP received through mail. 

5/8/2017: Card Was Mailed To Me 

5/10/2017: Combo Card (AED & AP) received

6/24/2017: (Greencard) Card is being Produced | NO INTERVIEW

4/14/16: USCIS Receipt Date

4/19/16: NOA 1 text/ email; case sent to CSC

7/14/16: NOA 2 text/ email & Post Decision Activity Email

7/29/16: NVC Received Case

8/01/16: NVC assigned case number

8/08/16: Medical Interview

8/23/16: Consulate Interview

9/05/16: Visa Delivered

9/06/16: POE

AOS PROCESS-

9/17/16: AOS/ EAD/ AP Paperwork Sent

9/21/16: NOA 1 texts/ emails

9/26/16: NOA 1 hard copies

10/11/16: Biometrics Walk-In

10/12/16: RFIE Received (for AOS)

Ours was approved July 8th! So I think I will call this morning to check. Received the "Post Decision" last week that it had been forwarded. I'll try my luck if some from July 8th already have received theirs.

  • 04/27/16 ✔ I-129F Packet Sent to Lewisville, TX Lock Box via USPS Overnight EXPRESS Mail.✔
  • 04/28/16 ✔ Delivered by USPS AT 11:39AM. Delivery Confirmation via email by USPS.
  • 05/02/16 ✔ Check Cashed Electronically (No text or email received with the notification)
  • 05/03/16 ✔ Email & Text stating paperwork was received on 04/28, accepted and rerouted to CSC.
  • 05/12/16 ✔ Called USCIS to request a hard-copy of NOA1 which was not received (Original NOA1 was never received or located).
  • 05/29/16 ✔ Actually finally received NOA1 hard-copy after numerous calls after USPS returned 2nd NOA1 as being undeliverable.
  • 07/08/16 ✔ NOA2 APPROVED!! All the apps started going off one after the other. Last notice I received is the text from USCIS.
  • 07/12/16 ✔ Hard Copy of NOA2 received!
  • 07/14/16 ✔ Received email at 2217hrs of "POST DECISION ACTIVITY" regarding file being forwarded from USCIS to NVC.
  • 07/27/16 ✔ NVC received petition packet.
  • 07/28/16 ✔ NVC issues MNL-2016-710-@@@
  • 07/28/16 ✔ Visa paid for K1 & K2
  • 07/28/16 ✔ Mailed out Petition Packet with all documents to K1 via FEDEX (COST $221.00!!!)
  • 07/29/16 ✔ IN TRANSIT to USEM, Manila, Philippines
  • 08/02/16 ✔ File received and 'READY' at US Embassy, Manila Philippines. (08/01/2016 US)
  • 08/11/16 ✔ CENOMAR & NBI in hand.
  • 08/16/16 ✔ Medical scheduled for K1 & K2 at St Lukes
  • 08/17/16 ✔ Medical with OB/GYN COMPLETED
  • 08/18/16 ✔ CFO Seminar COMPLETED & Return for shots and TB results for K2
  • 08/22/16 ✔ Interview scheduled at 0815hrs :dance: COMPLETED INTERVIEW!! :dance:
  • 09/02/16 ✔ Visa Issued in hand
  • 09/05/16 ✔ CFO decal placed in K1 & K2 passports
  • 09/08/16 - Flight booked! Set to depart on EVA Airways at 12:40PM
  • 09/08/16 - Set to ARRIVE in US 4:30PM (Pacific Standard Time) POE: San Francisco International Airport

I got my NOA2 approval! :) :)
They received our RFE reply on July 11th and we got the approval notice, now! Whew! Only a week! :dancing:

Wow!!! Congrats, now join us all on waiting for our case numbers. heheh!

AOS 2017: 

2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed.

Have you checked the regional forum? I know London people are very active here, so there must be tons of info there for you to research. They even had some updates recently (applicants set their own interview date!) and have a thread tracking the approval dates and passports received. Have fun checking!

Your friends case is not a k1, right? better not compare...

Yes, their case was a K1, also going through the London Embassy.

Haha! I mean, listen, I don't know what you want from me -- I'd have absolutely no reason to make this up.

True, neither of us have heard of other K1 cases going through the PSC, so we're guessing it's a new/experimental thing. It completely freaked her out for the last three months, since she kept Googling PSC and no one else's K1 was going through there. But the fact of the matter is: it did, and they got their NOA2 on July 8th, and now are received at NVC.

Theirs was not an expedite -- it really must just be because it went through the Potomac Service Center! Maybe they're experimenting with using it as another routing center!

Nothing from you, just interested in knowing if that's really a new thing. Would be good for k1s to have another service center to adjudicate. But yeah, unfortunately service centers work differently so it's hard to compare timelines when they do that
